Listening to Rod Babers, he said in the last three weeks we are 127th in yards per completion….

I think that is the ADOT (average depth of target). Ewers is at 7.4 per attempt (65th) and Manning at 9.3.. Texas averages 12.35 per reception

No that’s the season.  This is the last three games only… how many teams are there 132?

All we need to get the downfield passing attack going is the fastest guy in combine history, a second round WR draft pick, a 4th round TE pick, and a 6th round WR pick and Quinn will be back to looking like the stud he was last year.

Well we have a receiver with a mid first round grade that will hopefully be back after the bye.

This is pure delusional fiction. Not surprising given the source.

I re-watched and aside from the boneheaded interception late I think Ewers played pretty well overall.

The penalties really fucked us as well as shitty punts which made this game closer than it needed to be.

This is just our October lull. We'll bounce back and finish strong. Quinn will ice the game against A&M on a zone read where he keeps the ball. I'll yell "CULTURE!" at the top of my lungs and frighten my kids. So it is written...

Aggy will take the lead with like a minute left only to allow a 90 yard kick off return for TD.

Coach talking up a QB that clearly has a confidence issue instead of shitting on him to the media? Fucking weird man.

Coach is right. After that first interception Quinn could have folded and fell apart with a fuck it performance. These are humans that hear all the shit about how bad they suck when they don’t play well. Human nature for him to think fuck it. I’m not saying qe was great, but I could hear a sigh from every Texas fan everywhere through my tv after interception. At this point I don’t care if we wildcat the rest of the year let’s just win. I honestly think sark should call more rollout plays to get qe moving and involved in game with simple reads to calm his mind early.

Shit that’s what A&M is about to do and it’ll probably work pretty well

Exactly, their schedule is propping them up even tho I think they’re an ok team. Unbalanced scheduling this year saved their ass

Maybe we can get Tucker to be an honorary captain for the day and be on the field for the coin flip.

Lot of talk how Baxter looked much better in camp, but we will never know. I am not sure Blue or Wisner are even 200 pounds and both listed at 6'. They just arent built to pound. That's one reason I would like to see more Gibson after the bye. Games like Georgia and A&M are going to require a back that can take and give some punishment. I typically dont love big RBs, but there is a time and place for them.

I would also add that the play book looks a lot different when Arch is the QB. There is a lot of work for the offense during the bye week.

Like Bond. I believe Gibson is nursing a sprained ankle, so hopefully he's back by Florida (same with Bond)

Yeah, with all the handwringing, I was handwringing about "why not more Gibson?".

If it's a completion, he threaded the needle. If not, he had no business throwing that pass :)

I liked that he stepped into that one. Definitely want more of that.

Yeah, but didn't like that one-footed backwards hop. Looked like he was favoring the right leg.

Yeah Klatt noted it as well @48:35 mark.  Guess Sark feeling the need to boost Quinn's confidence...

That was a damn good throw and what made me hopeful for the future, also not that dangerous, as long as it i has zip and is accurate, if Malik makes that throw it is never ever intercepted, rarely caught but a defender will never catch that frozen rope out of position.

Better mobility and threat to run with Arch as the Longhorns QB.

Sark just needs to quit pussying around amd get this thing going

I couldn't give a fuck who's starting under center. I just to.win. We have a talent disparity over every team we play going forward. It's time for Sark to establish his foot on their throats. He's underutilized so many players with bass screen shit

He doesn't need to throw the deep ball to open it up. Quinn's inability to throw down field has been re-hashed,ad nauseum. Sark has been too.much of.s pussy to dial up.something lile the Wingo reverse that's gone for 55+ yards. He just went away from it because it failed one time. I'm not seeing the genius that everyone lauds him with.

This is where I am after watching, rewatching, & rewatching the offensive plays. Ewers had a few WTF moments & certainly should have just thrown the ball into the ground on the 2nd INT, but the penalties killed a lot more drives than Ewers did.  3 holding calls in the 4th quarter alone is not a good way to put a game to bed.

They could have caught it on the bounce though.

In Dallas, I thought it was rust.

In Austin, I believed it was nerves.

Since Nashville, I've known it's something else.

That sucks man. I’d see a doctor. He can prescribe viagra or cialis. This is the football board after all.

I think he played just OK vs. OU, poorly vs. UGA and "good" (not to his standard) against Vandy.   I think pass pro, penalties, and run blocking are bigger issues than QB play (in that order) when it comes to fixing the offense.  I don't think it matters who is playing QB if that isn't cleaned up.  Good QB play could beat every team left on our schedule if we protect like we did against Michigan and clean up penalties

He missed wide open targets even with time. One of his bad throws got Bond injured. He is very inaccurate with his long balls even with time. While I acknowledge that the OL play and the run game need to improve, the offense only goes as far as the QB can take them. If the QB is lacking in confidence and leadership, it affects other aspects of the team.

He missed wide open targets against OU. He was much better against Vandy. He was clearly rusty against OU. Again, he was way down the list of our problems on offense on Saturday.
