No, but actually funny. My company does invest heavily on annual interns from both aggy and OU sucks as future petrochemical engineers, then usually hire 50-60% of them the following year. There are usually a handful from UT too. We have suites at both of their football stadiums, but not UT, as the Longhorns’ alumni are vastly outnumbered at the corporate office. Most of the UT grads are lawyers, accountants, or IT grads.

Please no CR references on the football board. It’s low brow and reeks of people who live in studio apartments.

Your drunk ass is too stupid to realize that die hard Quinn defenders like yourself have called themselves Q-Anons and it has nothing to do with politics you fucking clown.

After saying “probable” all week, I imagine Ewers almost has to play (to start) to avoid trouble with the league office.

Are they that strict about it? I would think being dressed out and going through warm-ups would be sufficient to cover that.

Not that that should factor into the decision anyway.

I swear to god if Ewers comes out and looks completely immobile, Sark has to answer for it…you can’t be stubborn about a game this big. If he’s even 50% as stiff as he looked in the 2nd half of the Kentucky game, we’re in trouble against an aggressive A&M scheme.

We’re in massive trouble if Quinn can’t go. For all of Quinn’s faults he’s succeeded in hostile environments. Arch has never played in a game that will be this loud.

Would you rather have Arch against aggy’s defense or Marcel Reid against our defense?

Look I would rather have Quinn out there, but a gimpy Quinn should not be out there under any circumstances.  Same as the second half of the Kentucky game.

I get that we want to win an SEC Championship, but a national championship run is more important.  So if you believe Quinn gives you the best shot to win it it all then you let him rest if he is gimpy at all.  IMHO.

Lol yall are just now realizing Ewers injury is “not great, bob?”

Looking at some Zapruder quality screenshoots from the game and the way Quinn’s ankle twists under the weight of the defender, it doesn’t look good. I feel bad for Quinn being hurt but Sark’s next man up mentality has our team pretty much plug and play when our starters get hurt.

Is there any reason to believe Ewers won’t play? It was a minor sprain. Gotta assume he plays and he’s 85% as mobile as usual.

No you can’t assume that, by all accounts Quinn is pretty limited and one setback during the game he’s out

I hope Quinn carves these boys up. It’s a lot to ask for him to play at a high level against two aggressive defensive lines back to back while being all banged up. I think he should have took the week off. Fuck it, let’s go.

Elko likes to play man. A mobile qb is problematic for that scheme, Manning might be a better matchup for us anyway. I’d like to see Quinn have the game of his life but I wouldn’t put that sentiment over giving us the best chance to win. The coaching staff only knows how hurt he really is. I guess we have to trust Sark to make the hard decision.

Nahlin said this morning that he expects Ewers to start but also expects to see Manning play.

Nahlin went to twitter right after the Kentucky game to shit on anyone suggesting he was hurt. And of course the obvious is true- Ewers is injured.

ESPN's "sources": Quinn Ewers set to start despite high-ankle sprain

And there is the built in excuse if he plays like shit. I’m mentally prepared for Sark to stick with an injured Ewers no matter how badly he is playing.

A hurt Quinn starting could get us in a hole early because we've seen how he plays early especially when he's injured.

Bobby's write up:

As we’ve reported, Quinn Ewers is expected to give it a go today.

His health will be a major point of discussion prior to the game and it will be monitored throughout it.

Do not be surprised if Quinn makes it through the entire game. Likewise, do not be surprised if we see Arch Manning at some point.

While others are trying to guess or predict what will happen, no one truly knows. So my advice is to merely keep an open mind to today.

Quinn will start and then we go from there. That’s the way it is. And it’s really no different than Texas has approached every other game this season.
