saying Quinn hasn't met his hype isn't some sort of slander some are making it out to be. some of you are also building up Georgia's defense to be some sort of monster that can't be dominated by a QB. that isn't true. this is not the NFL.  he was the #1 QB recruit in his class. the standard for that sort of talent/hype isn't hidden. not in college. when those players who played at that level stepped on the field, the question wasn't how were they going to manage the game, it was how will the defense stop them. Quinn doesn't invite those sort of questions. I doubt any good defense watches his film and actually has any sense of fear.

it is possible Arch also doesn't live up to the hype with extended viewing (we've been here before with Gilbert), but his unknowns are more promising than what we know about Quinn.

Are you seriously trying to say that our QB was the one that turtled in that game?

Was he the one that went conservative on playcalling?

Was he the one that instructed our offensive line to commit several false starts?

Did he make Todd Orlando’s defense give up 3 TDs on a span of 8 minutes?

That is a brain dead counter argument.

Yes he did all of that you fucking victim

He's the one who made shitty floaters and threw two interceptions. He's the one who stands in the pocket and takes repeated sacks instead of avoding them and making plays with his legs that were there for the taking.

Seriously fuck off with blaming the OL for this loss. Somehow they get zero credit for the passing yards and all the blame for lack of rushing yards. Fuck off seriously. Stop pretending QB isn't the clear cut most important position. Just stop.

Between the 31 yards and all the penalties the O-line do not get a pass. Unless you think it should be normal to ask your QB to drop back on 3rd and 11 every play and execute at a high level.

His tendency to float balls is rage inducing.

I’m talking about Sam Ehlinger in a game from 2018…

We only ran 37 yards because they knew our passing game was inept. They made Quinn have to play at a higher level and he didn’t. He got insanely lucky multiple times.

What? He had 358 passing yards today.

The reality is Sark's offense with Quinn has never been consistently good enough. We underperform the majority of the time. It feels like things have to go perfectly in order to score at a high rate and reach the potential that is there.

Sark has curated his offense so specifically to Quinn's "strengths" that we can't turn on a switch and get things humming when needed. Sark fell back into his typical offensive playcalling for Quinn at a time we needed to not fuck around and just sling it down the field.

Hoping for the best in the playoffs but can't wait to get out of this finesse bullshit next year.

Lol do we actually know there's more that we haven't seen?

I feel like when shit gets real like in OT we always seem to all say Sarks decision making starts to suck

Yeah and we would’ve won if our kicker made one of his two misses. How the fuck is this game on Ewers???

because we should be scoring 30 points every single game, and Ewers sucks in the red zone. No doubt, Sark has got to make that running game go. That said, a couple of weeks in a row our runners have taken over and put away the game. GA obviously figured out how to slow it down, but in doing so seems to have left themselves vulnerable to the pass. Quinn/Sark couldn't take advantage of it. The one ingredient our offense is missing is a healthy does of QB sprints. A good RPO can turn a stop at the line of scrimmage into a twenty yard sprint for the sideline by the QB. And when the tackler starts thinking QB, handing that ball off can result in a quick ten yards.

He literally got stuffed 3 straight plays before the final touchdown on 4th down. You don’t remember the game. Thinking he ran wild is absurd

He’s the same guy whether the offensive line dominates or not. Watch the Arkansas game. Watch the A&M game. Watch the OU game. Watch the Kentucky game. Hell, watch any game this season, you’re going to see one to three wacky turnovers by Ewers. Georgia has looked dominant on defense twice this season, both against Texas.

it's not 100% what Sark wants if the deep pass isn't connecting. all the way from Matt Leinart, that's been a staple of what Sark does. every game, there will be 2 or 3 moments when if a QB makes a good to great throw, it's a deep TD

At least 60 of that was on one play where he threw a 8 yard pass and Moore Jr ran 60 yards. He floats balls and his receivers save his ass. Georgia didn’t have to worry about him beating them at all.

And QBs get credit for identifying the receiver that gets that, goddamn

You mean when the whole stadium knew what was coming? Also against Georgia’s front 7? Funny you meantion that and omit his multiple 8+ yard runs that racked up key first downs and touchdowns.

That's not how this works but whatever, that still would leave him with 300 passing yards.

Quinn fucking sucks. There, I finally said it. I had high hopes for him to shine after that injury, but he just doesn't have that it factor. If we had Gabriel or someone else, we'd be blowing teams completely out with this defense.

Just because I took the time to respond to your shitty counterpoints, doesn’t make it boo hoo. You’re the one that started this.

What Sark needs to start doing is just embracing boom or boost against defenses that play us like Georgia.

Wingo and Golden were getting single coverage a lot in this one. If you know a defense is going to pin their ears back because our QB can't move just embrace going 3/10 on deep balls to those guys. Ewers will make some bad throws and get sacked some but we haven't shown the ability to put drives together (that result in TDs).

Embrace hitting a few big plays even if it leads to more negative plays.

Why isn’t our QB throwing for 500 yds and 6 TDs against a team filled with NFL guys. Shutup idiot

Quinn is not the reason we loss this game and if you believe you’re a moron. If you’re saying he sucks, you’re down right regarded

Doesn’t have to throw for 5 tds. If he throws for two tds it’s a win. But if the kicker nails two almost gimmes it’s a win as well. The offense was adequate.

He doesn’t “fucking suck”. He ain’t “good” either though. He makes our offense so hard to watch.

kinda what I mean. I keep hearing the NFL bit and that he can make every throw but that his problem is consistency, and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, because I don't think he can make every throw. and those windows don't get bigger at the next level. the DL doesn't get shorter.

You've been showing your ass regarding a lack of football knowledge all season.

You are a mentally weak person that can't cope with adversity.

However, I'd rather you lash out here than beat a woman or kick a dog which is probably your usual go to when upset.

Quinn 'the momentum killer' Ewers. Legacy locked in. How do you get worse as a QB with all this talent around?

He had a monster pair of WRs in Worthy and Mitchell plus a better right side of the line (Williams in particular keeps screwing up at critical times).

Yes. Against the Georgia defense that had “multiple” opt outs

You know you're out of legitimate arguments when you have to resort to you last paragraph. Like you have no other defense of Quinn you try to attack me personally IRL. LMAO.....But I mean you are the pathetic boomer on tinder because your wife left you.

That should have been 6, no question. He had some deeper throws that were money tonight, but this miss was really bad and very costly.

For that to be 6 he would've had to throw it over the opposite shoulder. You know.....how he did in the ez to the same receiver that couldn't track it. You guys are nothing if not predictable.
