Quick, we only have a few minutes before Thatguy tells us all of Quinn's 3-feet-too-high or at-the-feet passes to wide open receivers should've been caught because they got a finger on it.

Derp.  You know why no one was being negative?  It’s because we were rooting for Quinn and the team.  We scored 14 points tonight. Some of that is on Quinn.  Wish him well in the NFL where he will be drafted behind the likes of Drew allard and Dylan Gabrielle.   Thought this was your moment to gloat?

Allard also lost. Looked like shit doing it. To a much worse team. Sick flex I guess?

Quinn did well to bring us back to prominence despite being a limited QB. He has failed two years in a row to get us over the hump with the ball in his hands. He just doesn't have the IT factor. Time to see what Arch can do in the next 2-3 years.

Eh, Quinn was pretty far down the list of Sarks bad decisions today. The kid got us to the 1 and then our HC squatted on the sideline and took a shit.

I'm not talking about the last sequence. Or today even.  I'm talking about the whole season. With a real, playmaking QB and a playcaller with a half a brain cell we win the natty this year.

I am waiting to see which linemen get blamed for all the batted passes.

He helped get us back to respectability.  He helped us raise the floor.  I wish him luck next season, wherever he goes.  We need to move on.

Why do we never have those wide ass throwing lanes other teams  have?

Well he still threw a great pass to the Ohio St. safety after that.

I've been vocally critical of Quinn since he came back from the injury, but a lot of the these comments are fucking pathetic. Quinn was the reason we were even in that game. That was a really good D and they won a healthy majority of the 1 on 1 battles. You hang this loss around Sark's neck for going completely brain dead at the 1.

Quinn was a flawed player but he left everything on the field tonight.

Cam Williams literally cost us a chance at a championship but yea Ewers will be the one remembered no doubt.

Ewers is just a guy. Not terrible but not good.

Any type of difference-maker at QB probably wins us a title this year. We might have taken some bumps on the road and not made it this far with Manning but we had a clear ceiling with Ewers.

It sucks but that's the reality. When your QB is zero threat to run the ball and can't stretch defenses with a deep ball you are limited out of the gate. That's been Ewers his entire career.

losing season 3 years ago

So what? Just because we haven’t been up to standard means we should be celebrating finishing 4th? We can put semi finalist on the stadium I guess.

It definitely did because this team was significantly better. That’s maybe our best ever defense.

This post is flat out retarded. Take Ewers out of this and look at the situation. We had the ball at the 1. Run the damn ball down hill. If you guys think things would've been different with a different quarterback then you aren't watching closely. Sark makes dumb ass playcalls and asks his quarterback to bail him out when he gets in trouble. That is not a recipe for success, and if things do not change we will find ourselves in the same situations next year with Arch.

1000%

Sark fucked us but any semblance of a playmaker at QB wins this.

Thank you Quinn for a great career and getting us as close as we've been to a national championship since Colt's McCoy's injury.

from his first day until this game, he's raised the bar for this program

I think things would have been remarkably different with Arch Manning at the 1 yard line.

Arch would’ve pitched it at the 1 much betterer

These things aren't mutually exclusive.

Sark made some dumb decisions and Ewers is limited as a QB. This is why nobody takes you seriously. You completely deflect blame when these type discussions are nuanced and not 1 person's fault. That still doesn't deny that Ewers is limited as a QB.

That's what I don't understand as it pertains to Sark.  You've got a QB that, at this point, is almost just a game manager.  Problem is he might be the worst deep passer in college football AND he is absolutely no threat to run.  That might work with a good running game but, our running game is only effective against junk teams - for the most part.  So then, what's the point of starting an immobile QB, that can't throw deep, on a team that can't rely on the run?  At the absolute least, Manning is a threat to run when the pocket breaks down or if short yards are needed.  Oh well.  I'll stop bitching now.  Can't wait til next year.
