FSU/LSU from the Superdome - 6:30 pm ABC

Is FSU supposed to be good this year?  They have sucked shit through a straw for like 5 years across 3 coaches.  LSU being only a 4 point favorite in Death Valley, at night, seems like free money.  What am I missing?

edit: Ok so its Superdome and not Tiger stadium...but still

I'm watching ACC Huddle.

The dude on the far right--apparently a coach.  Who is he?

I'm mentioning because he's so monotone, and he kinda looks like Norm Macdonald.

the fun

Ah, I see.

From the mid 80's to the late 90's, I traveled to NO every single chance I got, and debauched myself in the Quarter to a degree sufficient for many lifetimes.  Had to get sober about 11 years ago, and I'm grateful for that, but there's an occasional moment when the thought of stumbling through the quarter or along the river at 3am, shirt somehow torn, missing a shoe, nasal/sinus passages on absolute fire, in the company of people I met within the previous 12 hours but have since come to know quite thoroughly in the biblical sense...

I do smile.  Because as you said, it was fun.

LSU, playing in New Orleans the day before a national holiday.

What could possibly go wrong.

I just realized it's Mark Richt.

I'm going with FSU, they should be improved, which isn't hard to do. I'm wondering how any player on LSUs roster is going to grasp Kelly's playbook

LSU should be more talented/athletic across the board.  If Kelly is remotely competent, and his tenure at ND suggests he is, LSU should win easily.

Which likely means FSU will blow them up.

But that's my prediction.  LSU going away.

I got in on FSU +4.5, so it's safe for the rest of you to bet your 401k's on LSU.

I don’t care who wins but I feel I’m entitled to see Kelly’s face turn purple at least once and Norvell make at least one boneheaded call.

He already looks purple to me

Money on LSU so go tigahs, but an LSU loss serves us better.

Most of the tickets have been sold to FSU fwiw, and they’re traveling well. LOL to them showing up in NOLA only to find out it’s also decadence weekend there.

It's THE easiest school to win at in the country. And BK knows what he's doing.

Agree. LSU os flooded with talent and Kelly can coach, FSU is getting pounded.

Why the shit does Louisiana get their own special kick off themed game?

It just means more, bro.

You'll get the secret handshake pretty soon.

Goddammit this fucker's gonna be a problem.
