Cards-Noles

It was a fun game. I hate seeing FSU ascend at all, but Louisville simply had no interest in winning the game.

Malik Cunningham is fun to watch but the talk of him on the broadcast as a high draft pick just doesn’t resonate.

I remember when Texas recruited Johnny Wilson. Oregon bought him and then Pierce flipped him to ASU or something. He was slower than Christmas, but huge. He looked great out there tonight, but both teams are really slow. Still, he’s like a broader version of Collin Johnson.  I’d absolutely take him.

The 3 backs for FSU are a damned good group.

That HC at Louisville does not seem like he’s going to make it. 0-2 in conference against teams you were expected to beat early … yikes.

FSU lost their LT, QB and Verse tonight for what looks like long term periods. They also do not have a kicker. They’re 3-0, and Norvell, when he’s not calling plays inside the 5, is a damned good coach. That considered, I could see this season careening sideways on them due to injury.

Looking at FSU’s schedule, given the injuries and the roster talent overall, they could easily be 3-4 after their next 4 games. If they go 5-2 or better, strong work by Norvell for sure. BC is decent, Wake is above average, NCSU and Clemson are good to great.

Meanwhile, it is hard to see Louisville going better than 5-7 and they could go 3-9. The rest of their schedule is not polite and they look disinterested in playing football.
