I know, I know.  But he's proud of his recruiting forum.  You know, that's a damn rare thing these days.

Amazing aggy keeps signing and getting 5* WR's to visit.  Demas, Marshall, Stewart.  Lulz, who is the last one that actually panned out?  Christian Kirk?

Yea it always amazes me they would even take A&M serious.

But money talks I guess

Add Jabari Mack to the June 13-15 OV list.

"Right now I would say Texas and Texas A&M, they're big for me," Mack told Horns247. "And I'm really starting to get to like Texas a lot."

Now Mack says he has an official visit locked in to Austin for June 13-15.

The Destrehan (La.) standout ranks as the No. 16 wide receiver and the No. 119 overall player in the country, per 247Sports. He was one of Texas' top offensive targets.

"I talked to Arch (Manning) a little bit," Mack said. "We work with the same trainer, so we was chatting about that for a minute. He just asked me how my life is going. He's a nice, standup guy. I also got to talk to Ryan Wingo. He's not from Louisiana, but he was a great freshman this year. It was good to pick his brain a little bit."

Just a general observation…No fucking way that of the top 120 players in the country, 16 of them are WR’s

2025 has 9 in the top 50 and 18 in top 150 composite

24 had 14 in the top 50 and 36 in the top 150 composite

23 had 8 in the top 50 and 32 in the top 150 composite

22 had 4 in the top 50 and 29 in the top 150 composite

Thats using the 247 "reciever" category which includes TE

Not disagreeing with you, just pointing out the reality of the ratings

19 WRs were drafted in the first 120 picks of the 2024 NFL draft.

I got a feeling Aggy is going to drop some serious bags this year. They are desperate and know they are on the verge of being Aggy forever.

While I understand the assumption flow of that argument, all indications are that A&M donors are strained from Fisher’s buyout, the following underwhelming hiring process, the fallout of their “no NIL” 2022  #1 class, and the various emotional downswings to end the 2024 season (missing the SEC Title game, zero offensive points against Texas at home in the return of that matchup, yet another 8-4 regular season, etc.).

I think many of them are in wait-and-see mode with Elko’s regime. I could be wrong, but I don’t think they (the big money - not dumb texags poster) collectively believe they’re “on the cusp” as they did going into 2022 when they spent a record amount on recruiting.

However, I also can’t rule out their manic drive to step out of the “little brother” shadow. So, you could end up being correct.

I'm with you Mueller, at least the logical part of my brain is with you. But like you got to at the end of your post, I wouldn't be suprrised if they way, way outspend to take one or two recruits away that we really wanted to try and prove something...to themselves, to recruits, whatever. Like Colin Simmons or Anthony Hill type kids in Texas. I could see them trying to make a statement with Zion Elee too. These guys are nuts, and they're desperate.

The good news is them showing up to drop 3-5 million on a couple of players probably continues to exacerbate their problems.

They do stuff like this every year, to some degree. At the moment, there isn't a ton of buzz about them doing so with any local big name recruit. There are more OTs than Texas can sign this cycle, so maybe they get lucky there. The bigger issue is that they don't really have any more money than most other big names, and their single biggest benefactor has buyout fatigue.

Kamehameha High School might be the best high school name of all time.

Every other school/street/mall out here is Kamehameha

If I were an old, I’d wonder aloud if kame hameha was what Jackie Gleason used to stammer when trying to come up with a response to the latest bullshit he was caught trying to pull. But I’m not.

It’s almost like it’s in reference to a famous person or something.

That is some next level bitching and crying. Why is it that the schools that cheated the most are the most vocal now about how bad it is to pay players? Just no self awareness whatsoever.

Oh it gets better. They've convinced themselves he'll transfer to them after one year. Not even joking.
