Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: They Can't Keep Getting Away With This

Dia Bell comes from wealth. He’s not shopping himself out to the highest bidder. On top of that, QBs at Texas have access to NIL that few other places do.

The LSU guys are not only simple dumbasses, they’re known liars. They’re often wrong, but never in doubt.

Thanks.

Yep, even for those guys, this seemed pretty dopey.

Didn't I read somewhere that he pound for pound the top prospect in the state this class?  Like if you were doing a draft auction, he'd be the #1 overall pick?

Lol fuck no. Dude is 160 pounds soaking wet.

Is it just me, or does Texas have an extraordinary number of 5-stars and the cream of the 4-stars coming in for official visits this June? The number feels like it's mind-blowingly high.  I was saying we'd get 6-7 five stars last recruiting season but that number feels low this time around. I think we'll get at least 8 and maybe as many as 9 or 10. We are blowing the doors off the Aggies and Sooners.

Saying “at least 8” seems a bit out of touch and an easy way to be disappointed with a great class. We signed 5 last year in the #1 class. Nobody has signed more than 5 in the last two years (since NIL has really matured).

Also, it seems to be a down-ish year in Texas for truly elite talent. Both on3 and 247 have dropped Turntine in the 50s. On3 has only one Texas player in the top 32 - Ojo. 247 has three - Ojo, the QB committed to Houston, and Carlton.  Last year on3 had 8 5-star players from Texas and 247 had 9.

I know we're recruiting more nationally, but there aren't a lot of elite players in our backyard this year that might make for an easy 5-star commitment.

I also know lots of shit is gonna change between now and December, and there will likely be some in-state kids that will rise. Still think Texas ends up with a top 5 class. But still, doesn't seem like this is a strong in-state class at this juncture.

The look on Gerry's face when talking about that is great. He does have a point. How many of the people downgrading Turntine have brokers down his junior tape on full games? Have seen him in person as many times as Gerry, if ever? I believe Gerry thinks these recruiting guys are lazily going off the 2024 highlight tapes.

If he drops further. It might make it easier to recruit Ojo and Turntine in the same class.

is there an alternative to watching film?  can't see every player in person.

The people who work for the recruiting services can easily get full game film either from Hudl access or directly from the coaches. The coaches want their kids to get the exposure.

All this, and they could also do this insane thing called going to and watching games. Which Jerry has, I have no doubt, done many times with respect to Turntine. I'll take his word over a hundred "national" morons who still rank pending college players based on "NfL pOtEnTiAL." Whatever the hell that means for a bunch of 15-18 year old kids.

I assumed his drop was related to his measurables. If Turntine is 6'3" and only 260 (on3) to 275 (247) that doesn't fit the "large humans" mold of what Flood usually wants. I assume the staff believes he's got the frame to add more weight, but he'd have to add A LOT of weight if his listed numbers are correct. Seems like an overcorrection, and I hope we are able to sign both him and Ojo.

Well he did say "pound for pound." He's having to divide his talent over far fewer pounds than Felix Ojo.

If it helps regarding the status of Turntine on the board for UT, I've asked Gerry directly about it on the OTF board. I'll post his response here. Last time I heard anything, Turntine was still atop the board and Texas felt good about his ability to gain good weight for the collegiate game.

Alabama has averaged exactly five 5-stars per recruiting class since the CFP began. No one else has reached that threshold.

this is big boy college football.  6'3" isn't tall enough to be an effective offensive lineman.  it's 2025.

This is a stupid take. 6’3.5” is plenty tall enough in the college game for interior lineman. There are so many more important traits for 18-22 year old offensive lineman than height.

Based on your post count, I'll assume you're new and not a long time lurker. Your time will be infinitely better here if you put Futureman and Spider2YBanana on ignore. You'll also get significantly less people yelling at you for quoting them.

(Fuck, fuckity fuck - was almost done, when the editor crashed.  Had to redo the whole thing ... so be sure to read the damn thing twice!)

All,

247/Tom Loy published an update on the recruitment of every prospect in the new Top 247.  (Yep, all 247 of them ... )

This list may be an interesting reference for a point in time, to revisit.

I've divvied the list up into the following sections:

- Texas is the favorite

- Texas specifically called out

- Texas is a contender

- The full list (spoilered, at the end)

Have fun.

(Also - this comment cracked me up -

"#8. LB Xavier Griffin (USC commit): Everyone, myself included, felt as though this would be the typical early USC commit from Georgia who ends up elsewhere.    "  Lulz.)

Football recruiting intel on each 2026 Top247 prospect: What we're hearing on every player in updated rankings

Here's the latest college football recruiting intel on every player ranked in Wednesday's 2026 Top247 update.

The 247Sports national scouting team updated the 2026 Top247 Wednesday, giving college football's recruiting player rankings an early-March refresh after the recent completions of high school junior seasons and postseason all-star games while the spring camp circuit has already kicked off. What's the latest on their recruitments? Here's a comprehensive look at all 247 prospects and what we're hearing.

1. QB Faizon Brandon (Tennessee commit): He's completely locked in with the Vols and focused on a bright future in Knoxville. Dialogue continues with LSU and UNC, among a few others, simply out of respect and due to relationships, but he's very comfortable with his decision.

2. EDGE Zion Elee (Maryland commit): He has been committed to the Terrapins since December. It's going to take a lot to flip him, especially since he has claimed that his recruitment is shut down. That said, Auburn, Ohio State and Texas A&M, among others, are still working to get him on campus. Most assumed that Oregon was a likely landing spot, but he said in February that the Ducks were out.

3. OT Jackson Cantwell: There are six schools still in play. Oregon, Michigan, Georgia, Missouri, Miami and Ohio State are the contenders. Based on current intel, keep an eye on the Bulldogs, Tigers and Ducks as he moves closer to a summer commitment.

4. WR Tristen Keys: The elite pass catcher is expected to take official visits to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Tennessee and Texas A&M. The Crystal Ball favors the Vols, but each of these programs gives him plenty to think about. He'll be patient and take a calculated approach as he inches closer to a commitment.

5. QB Keisean Henderson (Houston commit): He has been committed to the Cougars since May and couldn't be happier with that decision. Alabama, Georgia and Florida State, among others, are working hard to get him in their classes, but he's adamant about building something special at Houston.

6. QB Ryder Lyons: USC has long been considered the favorite for Lyons. The Trojans were absolutely his leader. However, things have gotten dicey over the past few months. They are far from a slam dunk for Lyons, who will likely arrive as part of the 2027 class after taking an LDS mission. Oregon is likely the biggest player today. Michigan is a sleeper. BYU is a contender not being talked enough about.

7. OT Felix Ojo: Texas is the perceived team to beat. After that, you've got Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Notre Dame, along with the Wolverines and Buckeyes, will get him on campus for a spring unofficial visit. But if he isn't a Longhorn in the end, that would be surprising.

8. LB Xavier Griffin (USC commit): Everyone, myself included, felt as though this would be the typical early USC commit from Georgia who ends up elsewhere. The more I dive into this one, the less likely it is that he flips from the Trojans. He says he still speaks with coaches at Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida State and Texas. We will see if he takes official visits. That is where things could potentially take a turn.

9. OT Keenyi Pepe: USC is a threat here. Miami is surely in the picture. Others in the hunt include Washington, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. This one has a long way to go.

10. CB Jorden Edmonds: Alabama was set to land his commitment, but then he put things on hold. He still claims the Crimson Tide as his leader, but watch out for Georgia. Others in the mix include Tennessee, Florida and Oklahoma.

11. OT Immanuel Iheanacho: Maryland is the leader at this time and trending in the right direction for the coveted in-state talent. The Terps hope to pair him with fellow a five-star in the aforementioned Elee. Oregon has long been considered the biggest threat to land him if he doesn't stay home. Georgia and Penn State, among others, are trying to get him on board.

12. Safety Bralan Womack: The nation's top safety has narrowed his recruitment to Auburn, Florida, Ohio State and Texas A&M. He'll take official visits to each school. He'll also take a few unofficial visits to each of these finalists, starting with College Station at the end of March and then Columbus the first week of April.

13. QB Jared Curtis: The elite passer from Nashville is closing in on a commitment. Will it be Oregon or Georgia? He will visit Eugene March 9 and then Athens March 13. Look for a decision shortly after that second visit. Regarding the favorite, it depends on whom you ask. Entering the trips, some believe that the family prefers Georgia, while Curtis is leaning toward Oregon. These trips will play a big role in his final decision.

14. EDGE Rodney Dunham: As it stands now, Georgia, South Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame and Tennessee are the five teams to watch. The most optimism is coming from the Gamecocks and Vols. However, Dunham will take five official visits and decide after that. He's in no hurry.

15. LB Tyler AtkinsonThe safe estimation with Atkinson is Georgia. Most assume that he'll end up in-state with the Bulldogs. That said, don't rule out Alabama, Auburn, Clemson or Ohio State. He has strong relationships with each program and a ton of interest in potentially playing at each school.

16. WR Cederian Morgan: Alabama and Auburn are the likeliest of landing spots for the Yellowhammer State talent. The sleeper to watch is Florida. He speaks highly of the Gators. Also in play are Clemson, Georgia and Colorado. All that said, the Crystal Ball is split between the Tigers and Crimson Tide.

17. RB Savion Hiter: It looks like there are four programs to watch. You've got Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee and Georgia. He'll likely see each of those schools unofficially this spring and then again in the summer for his official visits. The Wolverines might be the perceived leader, but there isn't a ton of comfort right now in Ann Arbor that it's even close to a done deal.

18. WR Calvin Russell: Most assume that he's a lock to stay in state at Florida State, Florida or Miami, but not so fast. Keep an eye on Syracuse here. The staff loves a big splash and Russell is open to the Orange. Another school outside the Sunshine State to watch is Georgia. Don't rule out Maryland either. With basketball just about in the rearview mirror, this one is just now heating up and will come down to official visits.

19. EDGE Trenton Henderson: He recently narrowed his recruitment to 10 finalists, so who are the true contenders? Alabama is a safe estimation. Florida is a school that he loves. Auburn is another that he has plenty of interest in. Florida State will get the final visit. Keep an eye on those four.

20. Safety Jett WashingtonThe Las Vegas Bishop Gorman standout and nephew of the late Kobe Bryant recently trimmed his list to 11 schools. From that list, I'd keep a close eye on USC. A couple of others include Alabama, Ohio State and Notre Dame. He also has interest in Michigan and Texas. In all reality, this one has a long way to go and he has plenty of visits still to take.

21. IOL Darius Gray: The coveted lineman has a top 12 at this point. However, let's look at a few from that group to watch closely. He will see Clemson, South Carolina, LSU and Michigan this spring. Beyond that, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Penn State and Auburn are absolutely in it. Look for him to take official visits to each of these contenders.

22. QB Dia Bell (Texas commit): It's going to take a lot to flip him from Texas. He's very happy with being a Longhorn. That said, schools haven't given up. Ohio State is the main threat as of today. Don't rule out potential trips to Ohio State, LSU or even Georgia.

23. Athlete Brandon Arrington: Keep an eye on Texas A&M with the top target from the West Coast. Others in play include USC, Penn State, Oregon and Alabama. Look for him to decide after some official visits. If the Trojans get the last crack at him come official visit time, watch out.

24. TE Mark BowmanSince Day 1, the two schools to track were Georgia and Texas. The Bulldogs were pursuing him to be the next Brock Bowers. The Longhorns were his favorite team growing up. Alabama is another that has absolutely grabbed his attention. That said, keep an eye on USC. They are clearly one to watch right now.

25. OT Kodi Greene (Oregon commit): He is happily committed to the Ducks. That said, don't sleep on Texas. The Longhorns are doing well with him, and he'll take an official visit to Austin before all is said and done. USC is the other contender in this one.

26. DL Jamarion Carlton: There are six schools in play. You've got Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, SMU, Baylor and USC. As of today, the Crystal Ball is trending in favor of the Longhorns.

27. WR Chris Henry Jr. (Ohio State commit): The longtime Ohio State remains firm in his pledge to the Buckeyes. Things improved even more when Brian Hartline was promoted to offensive coordinator. But keep an eye on Oregon, USC and Miami. The Ducks have optimism that they can flip Henry.

28. CB Chauncey KennonHe is strongly considering schools like Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Auburn and LSU. He'll take official visits to each. His best relationships are in Tallahassee and Athens. I'd give the edge to Georgia as of today.

29. CB Khary Adams: There have been six programs to watch for a while. Oregon, Notre Dame, Penn State, USC, South Carolina and Auburn are the biggest threats to land him. However, it's clear Michigan is moving up his leaderboard. You can add them to the mix as well.

30. Safety Jireh Edwards: Auburn, Oregon, Texas A&M, Georgia, Alabama and Maryland are the top contenders. There are ties to the Tigers, which give them optimism. The Aggies are pushing all of the right buttons and might be his leader entering a busy stretch of visits. The Terps are doing everything possible to keep him home.

31. IOL Lamar Brown: There was a time when LSU was the leader. Texas A&M then pulled out front. Florida State is a school with ties to Brown. Miami is also a threat. Those are the four to watch closely, with Alabama and Georgia also in the mix.

32. LB Talanoa Ili: My Crystal Ball remains on Oregon. The Ducks were Ili's public leader for quite some time. Others have tightened the race including USC, Texas, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. However, in the end, watch out for the Ducks and Trojans.

33. EDGE Carter Meadows: It seems as though there are three major threats for Meadows. The teams to know are South Carolina, Penn State and Michigan. Depending on whom you speak with, there is optimism coming from each of these programs. In addition, he recently picked up offers from LSU and Auburn.

34. RB Derrek Cooper: Once committed to Georgia, Cooper opened up his process and remains patient. That said, the Bulldogs are one of seven schools to watch right now including Auburn, Miami, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State and Texas. He'll take official visits in May and June before deciding.

35. Athlete Jermaine Bishop: There are two official visits on the books. He's headed to USC and Texas. Others in the hunt for official visits include Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma, Houston, Michigan and Penn State. The smart estimation is on the Longhorns as of today.

36. IOL Ekene Ogboko: There are five schools to watch. Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and LSU. Official visits are set for each school except for LSU. That'll be set in the near future. The safe estimation as of today is Georgia, slightly ahead of Alabama.

37. EDGE Anthony Jones: The schools to watch as of today include Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Miami, Texas A&M and LSU. The Ducks are sleepers on this one, but most expect him to end up in state at Alabama or Auburn.

38. TE Kaiden Prothro: The coveted pass catcher has five official visits set. He'll see Texas, Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia before making a final decision. The Bulldogs are the safe bet to keep him home in the Peach State.

39. TE Ian PremerThere are some key visits on deck this spring for the big-time talent. He'll get to Miami, Notre Dame and Michigan in March. Those could result in official visits. It's clear Kansas and Kansas State are going to be major players for him.

40. Athlete Salesi MoaThere is a long list of suitors in play for the top two-way talent. Utah, Oregon, Texas A&M, Washington, Tennessee, USC, Texas, Oklahoma and UCLA are among the contenders. Look for him to take a variety of spring visits and summer official visits before making a commitment.

41. DL Valdin Sone: Florida, Oklahoma and Alabama have secured official visits for the top priority who has seen his recruitment take off since the Navy All-American Bowl. Virginia Tech, USC and North Carolina recently offered and could get an official visit as well.

42. WR Joel Wyatt: With a summer commitment on deck, there are a few schools to keep a close eye on. LSU, Tennessee and North Carolina are firmly in the mix at this point. Others to watch include Vanderbilt, Georgia and Ole Miss.

43. RB KJ Edwards: He'll announce his commitment Aug. 2. Texas, Baylor, SMU and Texas A&M are a few of the top contenders. Notre Dame just offered and is trying to make a late charge. As of today, the Longhorns are the perceived favorite.

44. TE Kendre Harrison (Oregon commit): Oregon landed his commitment in November. He remains firm in his pledge to the Ducks. While others continue to recruit him, he seems completely locked in.

45. Safety Davon Benjamin: As it stands now, the schools in play include Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, UCLA, USC and Washington. He's going to visit as many schools as possible, then narrow it down to a select few.

46. DL Aiden Harris: Auburn, South Carolina, Ohio State, NC State and Michigan look to be the biggest players in this recruitment. There is plenty of optimism coming from sources connected to Auburn and South Carolina, but the Crystal Ball is in favor of the Buckeyes.

47. QB Landon Duckworth: South Carolina remains a top contender. Florida State is going to be in it until the end. North Carolina has him at the top of its board. Ole Miss is pushing hard to land him. If Georgia misses on the aforementioned Curtis, watch out for the Bulldogs here.

48. CB Joey O'Brien: Penn State is the school that he called his leader. The Nittany Lions are in great shape. That said, he's still strongly considering Clemson, Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon and Tennessee. But my Crystal Ball has him landing in Happy Valley.

49. RB Tradarian Ball (Oregon commit): Oregon added his commitment last July. Texas is working hard to flip him and keep him at home in the Lone Star State. But barring a change of heart, he couldn't be happier being a Duck.

50. CB RJ Sermons (USC commit): USC picked up a commitment from the local talent in December. The Trojans legacy is locked in with his pledge. North Carolina, Notre Dame and others are trying to flip him. Georgia, Alabama and Washington make up a few others involved at the time of his pledge.

51. DL Vodney Cleveland: Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Texas and North Carolina make up his top six. The one-time Alabama commit could eventually find his way on Auburn's commit list. However, he loves Florida and the Gators already have an official visit set. Texas will host him in June as well, so don't rule out the Longhorns.

52. OL John Turntine III: There are three schools to keep a close eye on. Turntine will take official visits to Texas, Texas A&M and Tennessee. If I were picking a most likely to least likely, it would be in that exact order. However, these trips will play a big factor in his final decision. Also of note, don't rule out his interest in Georgia and Michigan.

53. Safety J'Zavien Currence (South Carolina commit): He committed to South Carolina in October. Florida State is lurking. He'll take official visits to both schools and could add a few more in the near future.

54. EDGE Simote KatoangaAfter considering reclassifying last cycle and nearly committing to Notre Dame, Katoanga pledged to USC Feb. 23. Sure, others will continue to recruit him and it's a long way to Signing Day, but flipping him from the Trojans going to be very to difficult.

55. Safety Jordan Smith: Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia and Georgia Tech are expected to get official visits as of today. Florida is another that is expected to get added to that coveted list. The Bulldogs will do what they can to keep him in the Peach State, but Smith is strongly considering leaving home to play college ball.

56. CB Victor Singleton (Illinois commit): The talented defensive back committed to Illinois Feb. 1. Michigan, North Carolina and others are trying to flip him, but he says that he's locked in with the Fighting Illini.

57. Safety Blaine Bradford: As it stands now, there are three top contenders including Texas, Ohio State and LSU. He'll take spring visits to each school and then follow those up with official visits. The smart estimation is on the Tigers, but don't rule out any of the top three.

58. WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt: Entering his official visits, the teams to watch closely include Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Texas and Oregon. The smart estimation today would be on the Ducks, but if the Trojans go all in with their pursuit, watch out for the hometown powerhouse.

59. EDGE Jake KreulHe recently narrowed his recruitment to 12 schools. He'll see Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas in the coming weeks. He's planning on getting to Colorado as well. He'll take official visits after that. Keep an eye on the Gators, Wolverines and Buffaloes as of this moment.

60. WR Jalen Lott: The teams to track closely at this point include Texas, Oregon and USC. He has three official visits set. That said, the smart money is on him following in his parents' footsteps and suiting up for the Longhorns.

61. EDGE Tristian Givens: Tennessee is very much in contention to pull Givens from the Peach State. His official visit is set for June 6. Others in the hunt include USC, Auburn, Florida State and Colorado.

62. IOL Leo DelaneyThere are nine schools in contention including Clemson, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Georgia. As of today, there are two official visits set for Clemson and Michigan. The Vols have plenty working in their favor as of today, but the Wolverines and Tigers are firmly in the mix as well.

63. DL Richard Anderson (LSU commit): The Tigers landed his commitment last June. It won't be easy pulling him from the hometown powerhouse.

64. CB Zyan Gibson (Alabama commit): He committed to Alabama in December. He seems fairly locked in with the Crimson Tide and will take his official visit June 20. However, the week before that, he is expected to take an official visit to Tennessee. Auburn is another school still in pursuit. It'll be tough to flip him from his dream school of Alabama.

65. DL Jaimeon Winfield: The Texas native is expected to stay home with the Longhorns when all is said and done. However, that hasn't stopped Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Washington and others from trying to get involved recently.

66. TE Brock HarrisThere are three official visits set right now. He'll see Georgia May 16, Michigan June 13 and BYU June 20. Others to watch include Texas A&M, Miami, Utah and Oregon.

67. LB Brayden Rouse: Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State, North Carolina and Texas are the teams to watch. A trip to Knoxville is set for June 20. In the end, the Bulldogs will make it tough on anyone looking to pull him from the Peach State.

68. TE Israel Briggs (Arizona State commit): The Sun Devils secured his commitment in February. LSU recently offered. As of today, all signs point toward him sticking with his pledge to ASU.

69. OT Gabriel Osenda (Tennessee commit): The Vols landed his commitment at the Navy All-American Bowl. He's firm in that pledge, especially knowing he's from the Volunteer State. Georgia is still recruiting him and will continue to push all the way to Signing Day.

70. WR Zion Robinson: Notre Dame, Stanford and Vanderbilt are three schools to watch. They are all considered "locks" to get official visits, according to Robinson. The academics and athletics play a major role in his decision. Texas is also in play, along with TCU, SMU and Illinois.

71. Safety CJ Bronaugh (Nebraska commit): The Huskers landed his commitment in November. However, his process isn't complete. He's still looking at potential official visits to Penn State, Texas A&M and Oregon, among others. Miami just offered, so watch out for the Hurricanes.

72. CB Jamarion Vincent (Baylor commit): He is currently committed to the Bears and it doesn't look like anything is going to change that decision anytime soon.

73. Safety Matt Sieg (Penn State commit): Penn State is thrilled to have this explosive athlete firmly committed. That said, there seem to be three other schools to keep an eye on moving forward. Alabama and Notre Dame both offered and grabbed his attention. USC was in it when he first committed. He's kicking around visits to each program, but it's going to be tough to flip him from the Nittany Lions.

74. DL Kendall Guervil: USC, Florida, Alabama and Georgia are all set to host him for official visits this summer. Keep an eye on Michigan and Miami as well.

75. QB Bowe BentleyHe grew up an Oklahoma fan and the Sooners are going to be tough to beat. Florida State and Georgia are two others that he is strongly considering.

76. DL Bryce Perry-Wright: Five schools to keep a close eye on are Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Texas and Texas A&M. There are no clear favorites, and official visits should play the biggest factor in his recruitment.

77. Athlete Davian Groce: Oklahoma, SMU, Baylor and Texas A&M are the four schools standing out right now. Florida recently offered and is looking to make a move.

78. Athlete CJ Sadler: The two-way star continues to talk to plenty of schools. The visits will play a huge role in his final decision. Keep an eye on Michigan, Colorado, Oregon, Auburn, Tennessee, Penn State, Illinois and Alabama. The smart estimation is on the Wolverines, but the Ducks and Buffaloes are giving him a lot to think about.

79. TE Mack Sutter: Perception has Alabama as the favorite right now, but keep an eye on Ohio State, Illinois, Ole Miss and Penn State.

80. WR Ethan Feaster: Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, Oregon and LSU look to be top contenders for the coveted receiver following his reclassification from the 2027 class.

81. Athlete Nasir Rankin: He'll take some spring visits before inching closer to a final decision. The Navy All-American has an official visit lined up for Illinois April 4. Schools like Michigan, USC, Oregon, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Duke are all trying to secure his pledge, but the Fighting Illini look to be in the best spot as of today.

82. WR Jordan Clay: Baylor is the team to beat right now, but if Texas goes all in to try and land him, things could swing in favor of the Longhorns. A couple other schools to watch include Miami, Oklahoma, Colorado and Notre Dame.

83. CB Justice Fitzpatrick: As it stands now, keep an eye on Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Ohio State and Michigan. The smart estimation is on the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide right now.

84. EDGE Jaquez Wilkes: He has visits lined up to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Miami and Texas A&M. Despite no clear favorite at this time, there is optimism around Auburn.

85. CB Brandon Lockhart (USC commit): He has been committed to USC for a long time, and while Georgia continues to communicate with him, he looks close to shutting everything down in favor of the Trojans.

86. OT Maxwell Riley: It'll be Clemson or Ohio State in the end. The Crystal Ball favors the Tigers, but you can't rule out the Buckeyes quite yet. His April 1 trip to Columbus could make or break Ohio State's chances.

87. DL James Johnson: He will make a decision after he takes some official visits. The schools to watch include Georgia, Florida, Miami, Syracuse and Penn State. Outside of those, keep an eye on Florida State and USC.

88. RB Ezavier Crowell: Alabama has long been considered the favorite. Georgia is right there as well. Auburn is squarely in the mix. Ohio State is a contender. Last but not least, keep an eye on Texas and Florida State.

89. OT Bott Mulitalo (Oregon commit): He is committed to the Ducks, and it will take a lot to flip him. That said, keep an eye on USC, Washington and BYU.

90. OT Kevin Brown (Penn State commit): He is committed to Penn State, and barring an unexpected surprise, he is expected to stay locked in with the Nittany Lions throughout his recruitment.

91. CB Caden HarrisHe has official visits locked in for Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama and Vanderbilt. Miami is another school trying to get involved.

92. DL Dylan Berymon: This one might come down to Texas A&M, Texas, Houston, Purdue and Texas Tech. The smart money is on the Longhorns at this point.

93. RB Deshonne RedeauxI think USC is in the best spot today. I believe the Trojans pulled ahead during his recent junior day visit. That said, he's not committed yet. So, the door is open. Washington, Oregon, Michigan, UCLA and Georgia round out his top 6.

94. IOL Tommy Tofi: Keep an eye on Oregon, Cal, USC and UCLA when it comes to Tofi's final decision. His top eight includes Miami, Ohio State, Utah and Tennessee.

95. IOL Pierre Dean: His top eight includes Ohio State, South Carolina, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee and NC State. From that group, I'm keeping a close eye on LSU, Auburn, Alabama and South Carolina in particular.

96. EDGE Kevin Ford Jr.: He has four official visits locked in. He'll visit Oklahoma, Auburn, USC and Alabama. Keep a close eye on the Crimson Tide.

97. EDGE Nolan Wilson: His recruitment is about to heat up. He'll take official visits to USC, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama and Texas A&M. Once those wrap up in June, he'll likely make a decision.

98. WR Xavier McDonald: Ole Miss and Mississippi State are top contenders and could keep him at home. He'll be at Ole Miss June 6 and Mississippi State June 20. In addition, he has official visits lined up for Auburn May 30 and LSU June 13. He'll add trips to Alabama and Florida State in the near future.

99. DL Tomuhini Topui (Oregon commit): He has been committed to the Ducks since October. However, Oregon isn't all that comfortable with his current pledge. The reason? The USC Trojans. Behind the scenes, the school in his backyard is pushing hard to flip him and it seems he is strongly considering exactly that.

100. CB Elbert Hill: Ohio State is a contender. LSU recently offered and grabbed his attention. Alabama recently hosted him, again, and is very much in contention. Oregon, USC and Michigan make up the few others squarely in contention.

101. IOL Sam Utu: USC, Texas and SMU are three official visits he has lined up. Alabama is another contender. Washington is a sleeper in this one.

102. EDGE Hezekiah Harris (Auburn commit): He committed to the Tigers last July and has been an active recruiter for them. That said, he's going to take visits to Tennessee, Florida and potentially a few others before completely shutting down his process.

103. Safety Zech Fort (Georgia commit): He's fired up about his future in Athens, but that hasn't stopped schools from pursuing him. Notre Dame, Miami, Florida and USC are a few to watch for potential visits in the coming months.

104. RB Brian Bonner: Keep an eye on UCLA, Washington, Michigan, Penn State and Notre Dame as of today. This will be a key offseason of spring visits before he locks in official visits and a commitment. His top eight also includes Georgia, Nebraska and Stanford.

105. WR Trent MosleyThe four schools in play are USC, Notre Dame, Stanford and UCLA. He could follow in his parents' footsteps and join the Fighting Irish, but recent buzz has him staying home with the Trojans.

106. DL Elijah Golden: Up next, he'll take visits to Clemson, Virginia Tech, Alabama and Notre Dame. He's going to see the Crimson Tide twice this spring. He'll be back in Tuscaloosa and South Bend this summer. Those two are doing a great job so far, but don't rule out Florida yet.

107. OT Brysten Martinez (LSU commit): He committed to LSU in February over plenty of other top contenders. The Louisiana native is expected to stick with his pledge and not take any visits.

108. EDGE Luke Wafle: The teams to know are North Carolina, Ohio State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Penn State. The smart money is on the Nittany Lions, but he's very open to each of these schools. He'll be in Chapel Hill very soon, so we'll see if they can surge. A decision will come in July.

109. RB Damarius Yates: The one-time Mississippi State commit is going to head elsewhere for school. Ole Miss is the best estimation as of today, but that doesn't rule out other potential suitors. A couple of others are Florida State and Alabama. Both are pushing hard to land him. Nebraska is one more to track.

110. DL Earnest Rankins: At this point, the five schools to track closely are Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas. He's been to Tuscaloosa and Athens more than any other schools. Both have optimism. However, ruling out the other three suitors at this point would be a mistake.

111. CB JJ Dunnigan (Kansas commit): The Jayhawks landed a tremendous talent when he committed to them in January. Tennessee, Miami and Oregon are among those still pushing to flip him. We could see him taking some visits before completely shutting down his process.

112. LB Simeon CaldwellKeep an eye on USC. The Trojans have an official visit locked in and he has a ton of interest in the Trojans. Notre Dame is also a top threat to land him. Another one is Ohio State. He always raves about the Buckeyes. Don't rule out Penn State, Florida, Miami or Florida State either. But the expectation is he leaves the Sunshine State for school.

113. EDGE Jordan Carter (Texas A&M commit): The Aggies landed Carter in October. However, this one isn't over. Keep an eye on Auburn and Miami. Both are working on flipping him.

114. DL Danny Beale: It looks like he's closing in on a decision. Mississippi State is in the mix. Georgia is a top contender. Ole Miss and Missouri are threats to land him. Look for him to set a few official visits and decide shortly after that.

115. IOL Chancellor Barclay: Florida is doing a great job with the in-state target. Clemson, Georgia and Oklahoma are three other schools worth keeping a close eye on heading into his official visits to all four schools.

116. RB Jonathan Hatton Jr.: Oklahoma and Ohio State are two official visits that he has firmly cemented. Tennessee is another likely official candidate. In addition, keep an eye on Texas A&M and Alabama.

117. WR Aaron Gregory (Texas A&M commit): He committed to Texas A&M in October, and it's going to be tough to flip him from the Aggies. However, Texas is trying to make that happen. He'll take an official visit to Austin June 13, while he'll get to College Station the week before. In addition, he's considering trips to LSU and Florida State.

118. Safety Kentavion Anderson: His commitment date is set. He'll make his decision known May 16. It's more likely than not he ends up in-state at Clemson or South Carolina. In addition, his other finalists include Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Virginia. He'll set a few more official visits in the near future.

119. CB Lasiah Jackson: He has four official visits set — to Alabama, Florida State, Stanford and Georgia Tech. The Georgia native recently added an offer from Miami, so don't be shocked if the Hurricanes make a move. Two others schools to watch are Michigan and LSU.

120. WR Vance Spafford (Georgia commit): The Georgia commit looks to be strongly considering a flip. There is plenty of buzz around USC right now. Not a ton of confidence about him sticking with the Bulldogs. Two others of note include Washington and Oregon.

121. CB Havon FinneyHe recently reclassified from 2027 to 2026 and dropped a top eight that included Oregon, Ohio State, Texas A&M, LSU, UCLA, Michigan, USC and Texas. Notre Dame then entered the mix with an offer. With his process moving quicker than initially anticipated, things will begin to really come to light in the coming months when he sets official visits.

122. DL Noah Clark: Notre Dame is making a move with the coveted lineman. He'll be on campus June 10 for his official visit. Ohio State is another one to watch. Michigan is a third Midwest school that is checking the boxes. A few others include North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Miami. Official visits will play the biggest factor in his final decision.

123. WR Marquez Daniel: He has been blowing up. UNC, Georgia and Florida, among others, have been pushing. The Gators even got him on campus late last year. There is clear interest in potentially playing in Gainesville. That said, watch out for Auburn. The Tigers are going to be a major threat.

124. CB Jordan Thomas: Auburn is not being talked enough about. He has a lot of love for the Tigers. Michigan is a very serious threat to land him as well. Others in the mix are Penn State, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

125. QB Brady Smigiel: There are clearly four schools to watch as of this point. It's Washington, South Carolina, UCLA and Michigan. He's visiting those schools in that order this spring. He'll be back at Washington for an official in June, and the expectation is that he takes a few more around then as well.

126. RB Shahn Alston (USC commit): He committed to the Trojans back in January. He continues to pick up offers, but he's an active recruiter for USC. He looks solid in his pledge.

127. TE Brayden Fogle: He'll has official visits set for Auburn and Georgia. It's unlikely those are the only ones he takes. Kentucky is in the mix. Louisville is in the hunt. Stanford recently entered the race as well.

128. WR Jabari MackHe has four official visits set. He'll be at Ohio State May 30, Texas A&M June 5, Texas June 13 and LSU June 20. The Tigers have long been considered the biggest player in this race, but don't sleep on the Longhorns. They do well in Louisiana and are doing a terrific job with Mack.

129. RB Javian Osborne: There are three programs that I'm watching closely — Miami, Texas and Michigan. The most buzz is surrounding the Wolverines. He'll be on campus for an unofficial and then an official. Don't be shocked if they pull him from the Lone Star State.

130. WR Devin Carter (Auburn commit): Auburn secured his commitment in January at the Navy All-American Bowl. He's solid to the Tigers, but there is a shot he takes some trips. There is some chatter around Miami, but it's going to take a lot to flip him from Auburn.

131. Safety Andre Clarke: As of today, he has five official visits lined up. He'll be at SMU May 2, Syracuse May 30, Virginia Tech June 6, Kentucky May 13 and Miami June 20. The Hokies have plenty of buzz, but the Hurricanes get the final crack at him which could bode well for them.

132. WR Dyzier Carter (Rutgers commit): The Scarlet Knights have held his commitment since last July. As of today, the only school that seems to be truly making this decision a difficult one is Georgia. The Bulldogs offered Feb. 10 and grabbed his attention. We'll see if he visits Athens this offseason.

133. Athlete Paris Melvin Jr.: In early February, Melvin dropped a top 10 that included Arizona State, Texas A&M, Baylor, Arizona, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Michigan, SMU and Houston. From that group, we're tracking the Sooners, Mustangs and Sun Devils closely. Relationships help these three above the rest, but official visits will play the biggest role.

134. Safety Ayden Pouncey: Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Syracuse and UCF make up his top 11. Taking it a step further, he set an unofficial for Michigan this spring, and official visits to Syracuse and Miami. He'll surely get to Florida and Georgia again as well.

135 LB Cincere Johnson: Ohio State is going to be very difficult to beat. That said, the one school to have truly grabbed his attention is Alabama. The Crimson Tide are making this difficult on the Buckeyes. In addition, watch out for Oklahoma, USC, Penn State and Clemson.

136. DL Tony Cumberland (Oregon commit): He has been committed to the Ducks since September 2023 — yes, 2023. He resides in Eugene. He's not going anywhere.

137. CB Samari Matthews: Clemson and South Carolina are doing a great job. The others to know are Florida State and Penn State. The major sleeper here is Texas. The Longhorns recently offered, a day after he publicly stated that he wanted the offer. It'll be interesting to see if they can make a late charge.

138. OT Johnnie Jones: His official visit schedule includes Miami, Penn State, Florida State, Florida, Ole Miss and Colorado. Others in the mix include Syracuse, UCF and UCLA.

139. OT Kelvin Obot: He just released his top 10, which includes Utah, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, USC, Boise State, Tennessee, Ohio State, Oregon and Michigan. The Idaho native will take plenty of spring visits and some officials before making a final decision.

140. QB Jake Fette (Arizona State commit): He committed to the Sun Devils in September. He remains locked in with ASU. It seems the only true threat in this recruitment is LSU, but it's going to be a tough flip.

141. Safety Aiden Hall (LSU commit): He pledged to LSU in August. He seems completely content with his decision and doesn't look to be wavering in the slightest.

142. WR Davion Brown: As of today, he has official visits set for Virginia Tech, Penn State, Ohio State and Duke. He is expected to set up trips to Syracuse and Michigan, which round out his top six.

143. QB Oscar Rios: He was once committed to Purdue. However, he's focused on other programs at this time. The talented passer is locked in for official visits to Oklahoma State, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. The Buffaloes get the final crack at him.

144. EDGE Asharri Charles: His official visit schedule includes Missouri, Louisville, Kentucky and Miami. Before that, he'll hit Texas A&M, Ohio State, LSU and Miami during the spring. This recruitment won't be over until the end of the summer.

145. WR Connor Salmin: Stanford, Notre Dame, Penn State and Clemson are four official visits he has set. Others to continue tracking include Virginia Tech and Maryland.

146. LB Jordan Campbell (Miami commit): The Hurricanes will host Campbell in June while Nebraska and Missouri lurk. Miami is going to be tough to beat out for either of the two.

147. WR Chase CampbellWith basketball season wrapping up, it's time for Campbell to turn his attention to his recruitment. Wisconsin, North Carolina and Boston College are among his recent offers. Baylor, Texas Tech and Arkansas are others to watch for the Lone Star State talent.

148. TE Xavier Tiller: Fresh off his Texas A&M decommitment, Tiller is back to square one in his process. He's open to everyone. However, a couple notable schools to track include Alabama, Auburn and USC. Watch out for the Crimson Tide.

149. EDGE Julian Walker: This spring, he'll hit NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Missouri, Tennessee and Michigan. That said, watch out for South Carolina. His father is on the Gamecocks staff and that could push things in their favor.

150. EDGE Derek Colman-Brusa: Washington is a major threat to keep him at home. The Huskies are hosting him this weekend for an unofficial visit. In addition, they will get him on campus this summer for an official visit. The other officials include trips to UCLA, USC, Ohio State and Oregon.

151. LB JaMichael Garrett (Auburn commit): He's committed to Auburn and couldn't be happier with his pledge. That said, he's considering trips to Oregon, Colorado and Miami, among several others. The only set official visit is a trip to Auburn. We'll see if that changes. As an Alabama native, he'll be a tough flip.

152. LB Daquives Beck: Oklahoma recently entered the race. That was a big offer. He'll visit Norman this weekend. In addition, he'll see SMU for an official in May. Other official visits include Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arizona State and Baylor.

153. TE JC AndersonHis official visit schedule includes Illinois, Auburn and North Carolina. Ahead of that, he'll take unofficials in March and April to Ole Miss, Illinois, Auburn and North Carolina. Notre Dame is a school that could become a major player if it turns up the heat.

154. RB Jae Lamar: Georgia is in position to keep him home. Clemson is firmly in the mix. Auburn is a surefire threat. Others are going to continue pushing, but the Bulldogs are going to be tough to beat.

155. DL Braeden Jones (USC commit): USC landed the Chicago native in October. It was a surprise at the time, but he's been locked in ever since. The only official visit he that has set is a trip to Los Angeles for June 13. Notre Dame and Michigan will continue to pursue, but he seems fired up about his future at USC.

156. RB Jonaz Walton: There look to be five top contenders as of this point. That group includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame and Tennessee. In addition, keep an eye on Miami, Auburn and Stanford. Despite being from the state of Georgia, the most optimism is coming from the crew in South Bend.

157. IOL Carter Scruggs: He has official visits set for Georgia, Michigan, Penn State and Clemson. We'll see how things play out, but he's been high on the Bulldogs for quite some time and they might get the final shot to land him this summer.

158. LB Izayia Williams: In order, he'll take official visits to Penn State, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Colorado and Florida State. The one-time Syracuse commit is expected to stay in the Sunshine State, but it's truly anyone's estimation this early in his process.

159. OT Heze KentAs of today, he has five official visits locked in. During the month of June, he'll see Florida, Miami, Texas, Florida State and Alabama. We'll know much more about this one following those key visits.

160. DL Deuce Geralds: An Ole Miss legacy, the Rebels made a move during a recent visit to campus. However, it's not a slam dunk by any stretch. Others in the mix include Oregon, Miami, Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Offseason visits in the near future will play a major role in his final decision.

161. WR Jayden Warren: As of today, keep an eye on Houston, SMU and Arizona. Those three schools will get an official visit from the 2026 Navy All-American. In addition, Miami and Oklahoma are two others looked at as potential landing spots.

162. CB Dorian BarneyMiami recently laid out the red carpet during his visit to campus. Oregon is a school that he's been strongly considering for a while. Texas A&M has hosted him in the past, and he'll surely be back. Georgia Tech is a very real player in this one. Colorado has piqued his interest for roughly a year now. A few dark horses include Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Michigan.

163. DL Corey Wells: Keep an eye on Mississippi State for the in-state talent, who has been soaring up boards as of late. Kentucky, Miami and Texas A&M are a few others that have offered. His recruitment is truly just beginning.

164. WR Somourian Wingo: Florida, Miami and South Carolina have secured June official visits. It's clear that those three are doing the best job with him as of today. Don't rule out Alabama or Florida State either.

165. CB Camdin Portis (Miami commit): The Miami legacy committed to the Hurricanes in October. He seems locked in and completely happy following in his father's footsteps. His father is former Miami star running back Clinton Portis.

166. WR Travis Johnson: Five summer official visits are set. In order, he'll see Indiana, South Carolina, Penn State, Michigan, Georgia and Virginia Tech. One school looking to make a move here is North Carolina. That said, the most optimism is coming from sources in Ann Arbor.

167. DL Tajh Overton: Oklahoma will host him for an official visit June 20. Oklahoma State is also battling, as is LSU and Ole Miss. The Sooners are the best estimation right now.

168. TE Evan Jacobson: Auburn has already squared away a June official visit. The Tigers are clearly doing well here. Notre Dame recently offered and expects him to visit this offseason. Nebraska is in play after a recent offer. His brother played basketball for the Huskers. Florida State, Miami and Indiana are three others worth tracking.

169. LB Thomas Davis Jr. (Notre Dame commit): He committed to Notre Dame in November. He's been the most active recruiter for the Irish this cycle. There was some chatter of potential official visits elsewhere, but that seemed to quiet down recently.

170. Athlete Roman Voss: He recently visited Iowa and Minnesota. Up next, he'll take March trips to Alabama and Miami. The in-state Gophers will be quite the challenge, but the Hurricanes and Crimson Tide will give him plenty to think about.

171. WR Naeem Burroughs: Four official visits are set. In order, he'll see Clemson, Florida, USC and Texas. The Gators have plenty of buzz right now.

172. EDGE Khamari Brooks: USC, Texas and North Carolina are among his recent offers. However, the heavy hitters in this one remain Georgia, Alabama and Clemson. Those three are battling and this is a close race. Next up is a trip to Clemson this weekend.

173. WR Mason James: He recently trimmed his list to 10 schools, including Missouri, Kentucky, Washington, Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Kansas State and Arizona State. He'll take plenty of spring visits before locking in the rest of his trips. A few set official visits include Oklahoma and Arizona State. It seems he'll get to Notre Dame and Michigan as well.

174. OT Malakai Lee: There has been plenty of buzz around USC as of late. BYU is another that people need to pay very close attention to. A prediction went in for Michigan in October, but all signs point toward the Trojans and Cougars having a leg up at this point. Another one to watch is Alabama — it's surging right now behind the scenes. Others in the mix include Georgia and Texas.

175. WR Ryelan Morris (Baylor commit): The Bears landed a good one in Morris back in July 2024. Now they have to fend off the competition. Oklahoma and Stanford are two others set to receive official visit in June.

176. QB Peyton Falzone: Keep an eye on Iowa, Utah, West Virginia, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and Penn State. All of those schools are still recruiting him. Two that could shake things up with an offer include Alabama and Ohio State.

177. EDGE Mason Leak (Boston College commit): He committed to BC in October. As of today, the only official visit set is a trip to hang with his future teammates June 20. That's as good a sign as any for the Eagles.

178. OT Bryce GilmoreRegarding official visits, Gilmore will check out Arkansas, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Penn State, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. Look for him to shut it down after checking out each of his top 6 schools.

179. WR Jase Mathews: With how things are trending now, there are six schools to keep an eye on. Colorado, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas A&M and Miami are set to host him for an official visit this summer. The Bulldogs could lock in an official visit when he takes a spring visit in March.

180. WR Keeyun Chapman: Fresh off a state title on the hardwood, he now turns his attention back to his recruiting process. Purdue, Georgia Tech, USC and North Carolina are among his recent offers. Florida State is in play. Miami is in the mix. South Carolina is in there as well. What's worth tracking is where his good friend and teammate, the aforementioned Duckworth, lands. The receiver-quarterback duo could eventually pick the same school.

181. DL Titan DavisHe recently released a top 14, but let's try and narrow that down a bit. He'll see 10 of those schools in the next two months, including Alabama, Missouri, Illinois, Georgia, Michigan, Nebraska, Auburn, Texas A&M, USC and Texas. That's about all we can get to at this point. This one has a long way to go.

182. CB Chace Calicut: I think Texas is in the best spot as of today. The Longhorns are setting the bar in his process. Don't rule out the likes of Florida State, Michigan, Washington and SMU.

183. DL Trashawn Ruffin (Texas A&M commit): Texas A&M secured his commitment in October 2024. However, his process isn't wrapped up by any stretch. In addition to a trip to College Station, he'll take official visits to South Carolina, LSU and North Carolina. The Gamecocks are expected to get the final visit, which is something worth monitoring for the North Carolina native.

184. WR Jabari Brady: Nebraska is a real threat to land him. Missouri has absolutely grabbed his attention. Ohio State has long been considered a top contender. Florida is the top in-state threat and slightly ahead of Miami, it seems. The expectation is that he'll take official visits to each of these schools, including one or two more, before making a final decision.

185. IOL Esun Tafa: The former Washington commit has set three official visits. Washington, USC and Utah will host him. The Utes would love to keep him home. The Trojans seem to be moving in the right direction at this point, but there is still a long way to go.

186. WR Justin Williams: The multisport athlete, who shines on the football field and baseball diamond, is being recruited as an offensive weapon. Florida State, North Carolina, Ole Miss are a few of the many contenders, as he is going to see an uptick in his recruitment in the coming weeks.

187. EDGE Daniel Jennings (Penn State commit): Penn State added his commitment last July. The only trip that he has lined up is an official visit to State College May 30. It seems that his process is over and he's locked in with the Nittany Lions.

188. CB Dylan Purter: He has been blowing up as of late. North Carolina, Miami, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Duke, LSU, Georgia Tech and Kentucky have offered over the past three weeks. Many more are coming. Look for him to set official visits in the near future. Auburn did a great job of offering early. We'll see if Alabama jumps into the mix with the Yellowhammer State talent.

189. EDGE Landon BarnesHe, too, has seen quite the uptick in his recruitment. The Lone Star State prospect picked up Georgia Tech, Ohio State, LSU, UCLA, Kentucky, Ole Miss and others in the past three weeks. He'll take trips to Baylor, Georgia and Washington in the coming weeks. He has two official visits already set including trips to Arizona State and SMU. The Mustangs might be setting the bar right now, but they have some stiff competition.

190. EDGE Samu MoalaTexas A&M landed the commitment of the California native in October. However, he hasn't shut down his process quite yet. Texas, Michigan, UCLA and USC are pushing for him to visit and potentially flip. The Bruins, at least as of today, are the best pick to keep him home.

191. QB Noah Grubbs ( Notre Dame commit): He is completely locked in with the Fighting Irish. He couldn't be happier with his decision and the staff couldn't be happier with him as a player.

192. WR Messiah Hampton: There are four schools that he's taking official visits to. He's eyeing trips to Miami, Ohio State, Oregon and USC. However, others in play include Syracuse and Penn State. Notre Dame just offered and is going to be a player here. His recruitment is starting to really blow up, so don't look for anything to be done until July or August.

193. QB Jonas Williams: He recently flipped from Oregon to USC and is completely locked in with his decision. He was considering official visits to Ole Miss and LSU, but his recruitment is shut down.

194. DL Jesse Ford: He committed to TCU in January. Barring a change of heart, his process is over and he's locked in with the Horned Frogs.

195. EDGE Cam Brooks: He has five official visits set. In order, he'll see Clemson, Florida State, Cal and Ohio State. I'll give the slight edge to the Seminoles over the Buckeyes as of today. A few others to track moving forward include Miami and Alabama, but the feeling is that he'll end up at one of the first four mentioned programs.

196. DL Jermaine Kinsler (Texas A&M commit): He committed to Texas A&M in mid February and is locked in with the Aggies. That said, that won't stop Ohio State, Michigan and Miami, among others, from continuing to recruit him.

197. RB Christian Rhodes: SMU recently landed a commitment from Rhodes. The staff offered and within two days, he was committed. That's a good sign for the Mustangs.

198. EDGE Jackson Ford: The Pennsylvania native will take some spring visits, but things will really heat up in April, May and June. He'll take official visits to Stanford, Wisconsin, Penn State, USC and Michigan. He recently picked up an offer from Ohio State, so don't be surprised if the Buckeyes make a move.

199. OT Evan Goodwin: He has some key official visits set for this summer, including trips to Wisconsin, Mississippi State, Missouri and Notre Dame. Don't be shocked if he adds trips to Ohio State and LSU before all is said and done.

200. WR Jayden Petit: He has been wrapping up his basketball season, so his attention is just now starting to turn to recruiting. Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Minnesota, NC State, Purdue and UCLA are some of his recent offers over the past month or so. Look for him to lock in spring visits and then summer officials. One thing is clear: Florida, Miami and Florida State are going to be top contenders for the in-state recruit.

201. QB Troy Huhn (Penn State commit): He has been committed to Penn State for a while and nothing is changing that. He says his process is over and he's not talking to other schools.

202. OT Jarvis Strickland: Kentucky and Vanderbilt are two schools that have secured official visits at this time. The Commodores are doing all they can to get the Bluegrass State talent, but the Wildcats are making it very difficult on that front.

203. WR London Smith (Baylor commit): He committed to the Bears in January. Texas and Texas A&M battled and tried to land him, but he's completely locked in with Baylor.

204. IOL Samuel Roseborough: He recently named a top 10 that included Texas, Michigan, Texas A&M, Alabama, Penn State, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU and Florida State. The Sunshine State prospect seems to be wide open with his process, and he has plenty of visits still to take. Worth knowing: Texas made a huge move around the start of the year during his first trip to Austin.

205. EDGE Colton Yarbrough (Arkansas commit): secured his commitment in August. He seems 100% locked in and will eventually sign with the Razorbacks.

206. WR Kenny Darby (LSU commit): He committed to LSU in November and shut down his process at that time. However, fast forward a few months and there is now some chatter about potential official visits to Miami, Tennessee and Alabama. We'll see if those trips come to fruition this summer.

207. DL McHale Blade: Notre Dame, Michigan, Nebraska and USC look to be a few of the top contenders for the Chicago native. He'll take spring trips and then official visits before making a decision this summer.

208. DL Keshawn Stancil: In order, his official visit schedule includes Auburn, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee and NC State. The Wolfpack seem to be in a good spot right now. Don’t count out Clemson, a school potentially offering soon, and of course UNC.

209. LB Tristan Phillips (Oregon commit): The Ducks picked up his commitment in December. Since then, USC and Texas offered the California prospect. We'll see if those eventually shake things up, but the expectation is he sticks with Oregon throughout his process.

210. EDGE Anthony JonesTennessee, UCLA and Washington are the perceived finalists. He has official visits lined up for each program. Don't look for a commitment until he sees each of these schools again.

211. RB Messiah Mickens (Penn State commit): He committed to Penn State way back in August 2023. However, his running backs coach and primary recruiter, Ja'Juan Seider, is now in that same role at Notre Dame. There is some chatter he'll take an official visit to South Bend this summer to give the Fighting Irish a look. We'll see if that trip takes place.

212. WR Amare Gough: The Virginia native has an official visit set for Virginia Tech June 20. Before that, he'll get to Virginia June 5. He took a junior day visit to Pittsburgh in January, which seemed to go well. We'll see if he adds another trip to check out the Panthers this summer.

213. Safety Kaden GebhardtHe has trips lined up to see Clemson, Notre Dame and Ohio State in March, and will get to Penn State twice in April. Look for him to see all of these schools on official visits this summer.

214. WR Kaydon Finley: Texas is looking to keep Finley, a Longhorns legacy, in Austin. Texas A&M is also recruiting him at a high level. Another top contender is Notre Dame. He'll take official visits to each school this summer.

215. OT Gregory Patrick: The coveted lineman has four official visits set. He'll see Penn State, then Michigan State, followed by Notre Dame, and then Michigan. All four schools are even per Patrick and the officials will play the biggest role in his final decision. For what it's worth, his father played for the Spartans.

216. IOL Kai Pritchard: In December, he released his top five, which included Rutgers, Tennessee, Illinois, Boston College and Penn State. Depending on whom you speak with, the most optimism is coming from the Eagles, Scarlet Knights and Nittany Lions staffs. This one likely won't be over until after his official visits.

217. CB Jason Bradford: He recently lined up four official visits. He'll be at Oklahoma State, Kansas, TCU and Houston in that order. It's worth knowing that Oklahoma will host him on Thursday for a spring practice visit. If they offer, look out.

218. Safety Tylan Wilson: He recently shared with 247Sports that he will take official visits to Clemson, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Mississippi State. Other trips are surely coming, and he is being patient with his process. Ole Miss, Auburn and Miami are others to watch.

219. Safety Jakob Weatherspoon (Ohio State commit): He committed to Ohio State in January. It's going to be hard to flip the in-state talent, as he grew up itching to play for the Buckeyes. One school to watch is UNC. The Tar Heels offered recently, and there is some chatter about a trip to Chapel Hill.

220. OT Emanuel Tucker (Mississippi State commit: He recently committed to the Bulldogs, who are fired up about his addition, and he has shut down his process.

221. QB Jaden O'Neal (Oklahoma commit): He has been committed to the Sooners since last June. However, the Sooners are still recruiting the quarterback position, which is an odd move if they feel good about their stance with O'Neal. It seems that both sides are continuing to evaluate their options. For O'Neal, keep an eye on Georgia, Miami, Alabama and Wisconsin if he decides to look around.

222. OT Andrew Trout (Minnesota commit): The Gophers landed his commitment a long time ago and nothing is expected to change that. He is an in-state prospect and a lifelong Minnesota fan. Good luck trying to flip him.

223. EDGE Jarius Rodgers (Syracuse commit): The Orange picked up a commitment from Rodgers in January. Shortly after that decision, he took a visit to Florida State. The Seminoles were long considered the favorite for him when he picked the Orange somewhat unexpectedly. Look for him to return to both schools for an official visit in the coming months.

224. OT Claude Mpouma: Notre Dame and Ohio State recently offered the Illinois native, but his focus has been on basketball as of late. These are major offers for the Midwest recruit. Another school to watch closely is Michigan. The Wolverines are clearly a factor in this one. One other to track is Nebraska. He's already been to campus. Look for him to visit all four schools, along with a few others, before making a decision this summer.

225. LB Terry Wiggins: One of Pennsylvania's top prospects has a few official visits lined up. He'll head to Syracuse June 6. He'll hit Penn State June 13. He'll be at Cincinnati June 20. He already visited Michigan State, Rutgers and Penn State this offseason. Look for a decision in July or August.

226. LB Nick Abrams II: The Georgia native has trimmed his list to 10 schools. The contenders are Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Vanderbilt, USC, Michigan State, Duke and Georgia. He's going to visit Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M in March. He'll hit Penn State, Michigan and Oregon in April. He'll announce official visits soon. He'll commit this summer.

227. IOL Tyler Merrill: He committed to Notre Dame Jan. 30. He's completely happy with his decision and, despite a few schools keeping tabs on him, his process is over.

228. OT Carson Nielsen (Iowa commit): He pledged to the Hawkeyes last April. The in-state native was thrilled to pick Iowa, and he hasn't wavered in the slightest. He'll take his official visit June 20.

229. CB Jaedyn TerryAs of this point, there are three top contenders and each of them are expected to land official visits. He'll see Georgia Tech June 6. He'll get to Mississippi State June 13. He's expected at Kentucky June 20. We'll see if others enter the race in the near future. A few other recent offers include West Virginia, Cincinnati and Louisville.

230 QB Jett Thomalla: The Nebraska native is strongly considering offers from Missouri and Iowa State at this time. Michigan and Duke are pushing hard to get him in their respective classes as well. Look for him to hit a few of these schools this month.

231. LB Malik Morris: The Sunshine State defender has three official visits lined up. He'll see Miami May 30, Texas A&M June 6 and Florida June 13. He's expected to line up at least two more officials in June. One of those programs to watch is Alabama — it's very much in contention as well.

232. EDGE Elijah Littlejohn: The North Carolina talent seems to have a leader at this point. All eyes point toward NC State being the team to beat right now. UNC is another contender, as is South Carolina. Others to know include Georgia and Tennessee.

233. TE Matt Ludwig: Notre Dame and Texas are among his major offers from the past two weeks. However, the perceived team to beat right now is Michigan. He'll be back soon for a spring visit and then head to Ann Arbor again for an official visit June 20. Another contender is Georgia, and his official visit is set for June 6. Between those trips is a Texas Tech visit June 13. Notre Dame and Tennessee are two of the schools looking to get him on campus at the end of June.

234. RB Terry Hodges: He has some heavy hitters pushing to land him, including USC, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida State, Missouri, Washington, Baylor and Ole Miss, among others. There is some buzz around the Razorbacks that they can keep him at home. Missouri is another that believes he is strongly considering it.

235. LB Rodney Colton Jr: There are six official visits on deck. In order, he'll see SMU, UCLA, Penn State, Missouri, Tennessee and Colorado. The Crystal Ball is currently trending toward the Volunteers, but these visits will play a key role in seeing if Tennessee remains the team to beat or if he will head elsewhere. He was once committed to South Carolina.

236. CB Jaelen Waters: Once he decommitted from Florida Feb. 15, the Crystal Ball quickly started trending toward Miami. A lot of factors are in favor of the Hurricanes. He'll be on campus again soon and then again for an official visit in June. The Gators remain in contention, as does Auburn. He'll take official visits to those schools as well.

237. OT Sam GreerHe recently shared his spring visit schedule with 247Sports. He'll see Missouri, Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State and Wisconsin in the coming two months. The Buckeyes are going to be tough to beat, but when you take this many trips, anything can happen.

238. WR Jaron Pula (UCLA commit): He committed to UCLA in September. The Utah native recently took trips to Utah and BYU, which is worth monitoring. He'll be back at UCLA for an official visit in May, but there is plenty of buzz with the Cougars right now.

239. Safety Cortez Redding: The Georgia native is set for official visits to Miami, NC State and Ole Miss. In addition, he'd like to check out Florida, Auburn and LSU before shutting everything down.

240. Safety Craig Tutt: A Tennessee native, the Vols are one of the top contenders in his recruitment. Others in play include Colorado, Miami and Auburn to name a few. The smart pick is on Tennessee as of today.

241. EDGE Ebenezer Ewetade: One source said, "Don't be surprised if he is eventually a five-star recruit." Well, He's surely starting to blow up like it. Alabama, Notre Dame, NC State, Georgia and Florida State are the schools in play. Regarding official visits, he'll get to Florida State May 30, Georgia June 6, Alabama June 13 and Notre Dame June 20. Look for him to set the trio to Raleigh soon.

242. OT Kaden Snyder (Kansas commit): He committed to stay home and play for the Jayhawks Jan. 27. Don't look for that to change anytime soon. He will take his official visit June 6.

243. WR Jaeden Ricketts (Ohio State commit): The in-state speedster committed to Ohio State in November. This was the dream offer for him, so he's expected to remain locked in with the Buckeyes throughout his process.

244. EDGE Khary WilderDon't be surprised if this turns into a UCLA-USC battle for the California native. Washington, Texas A&M and Syracuse, among others, are trying to get him on board. But the feeling is that he'll eventually be a Trojan or a Bruin.

245. WR Madden Williams (Texas A&M commit): He committed to Texas A&M in December. However, despite being happy with his decision, his process doesn't seem to be complete at this time. He's expected to take trips to Washington, Arizona State, Florida State and Ohio State before a final visit in June to College Station.

246. IOL Sean Stover (Duke commit): He committed to the Blue Devils in November. He couldn't be more solid in his pledge. The Lone Star State recruit will be back in Durham for his official visit in May.

247. TE Caleb Tafua (Texas A&M commit) He committed to Texas A&M in December. He is now the lone tight end commit in the class after Xavier Tiller decommitted recently. However, there are still schools attempting to flip Tafua as well. USC, Washington and Cal are the three to watch right now. Keep an eye on the Trojans at this point. He was recently in Los Angeles for junior day.

This is a stupid take. 6’3.5” is plenty tall enough in the college game for interior lineman. There are so many more important traits for 18-22 year old offensive lineman than height.

Don't take the bait, newfish.
