Naeem Burroughs to Clemson.

Dabo is going to try and throw him in a treasure chest with pillows on top and not let him out until signing day. I am sure the mental manipulation will be minimal at best.

Anyone know whether Eric Dickerson and Naeem’s mom were vacationing in the same place 17 to 18 years ago?

I don't think glasses are a genetic trait.

Indiana is one of only a few states I’ve not visited, which doesn’t bother me. My little brother played in a world series tournament for 2 weeks in Lafayette once. When he came home, I asked him what Indiana was like.  “Dude, it’s nothing in every direction for as far as you can see. “ Okay, then.

Fuck that sounds wonderful.

edit: oh, it’s FLAT everywhere. That sounds hideous. I live in SETX and it’s flat as fuck. No thanks. Now, the lack of PEOPLE? That would be great.

This is a stupid take. 6’3.5” is plenty tall enough in the college game for interior lineman. There are so many more important traits for 18-22 year old offensive lineman than height.

One thing that Pate is actually good at is knowing how to drive likes, views and clicks. He is constantly either kissing the ass of the biggest brands, or trying to piss off their fanbases.

His show is boring and milquetoast to me. CFB fans are overly emotional and easily riled so I guess it works for him but I don’t see him as a flamethrower.

I put him in the same category as JD Pickell. “Let’s use as many words as possible to not say anything too interesting”.

He’s definitely changed since his show got bigger.

Pate's opinions are strongly influenced by 'insiders' like looch and valuing the words spouted by the coaches he interviews as absolute (mario and Lincoln). Now that he is in this influencer sphere where he interviews coaches,  he's not going to say anything harsh and completely truthful as it would impact his access. So he just says the same things about every school that said team could win 10 games.

His anti "you are what your record says you are" stance is getting old....among other things.

Indiana is not flat everywhere. It has hilly parts in the southeastern portion. Don't get me wrong, a lot of Indiana is flat but not all. I would say parts are hillier than the piney woods of East Texas.

What I read Gerry saying here is that Georgia and Clemson lead for Atkinson by a decent margin over Texas and others. Not surprising with Georgia, but to see Clemson putting together a potential top 3-5 class is. I guess there's overweight in this cycle for talent from NC down through Georgia, so it makes sense that they'd benefit when that happens.

Gerry:

Latest on Peach State 5-star

OnTexasFootball spoke with a person in the circle of Grayson High (Loganville, Ga.) 5-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson Monday night.

Atkinson, 6-foot-2 and 210-pounds, visited Clemson and Georgia in the last three days. Both will be in the recruitment until the very end.

OTF was asked during Monday nights Talkin' Ball if Atkinson had essentially cut Texas from his list.

According to the source, Texas remains very much in the mix for the Peach State star. OTF believes that Atkinson will likely be back on campus prior to making a decision. Could that change? It's recruiting so always a chance, but this person has maintained for months that Atkinson would visit Texas again.

Clemson, Georgia, Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Auburn and Tennessee are the schools  mentioned the most.

Peach State official visits locked in for June ...

June 13:

Aaron Gregory, WR, Douglassville (Calif.) Douglas County - *Texas A&M commitment
OnTexasFootball ranking: 4-star++

Heze Kent, TE/ATH, Brunswick (Ga.)High
OnTexasFootball ranking: 4-star++

Bryce Perry-Wright, DL, Buford (Ga.) High
OnTexasFootball ranking: 4-star+

June 20:

Kaiden Prothro, TE, Bowdon (Ga.) High
OnTexasFootball ranking: 4-star++

Spoiler for dark mode babies.

Guys that commit to Clemson tend to sign with Clemson. Generalizations are great and all, yet I was touching on something specific and impervious to your lazy position.

I was born on a hill in Indiana, so this hits close to home.

Northern Indiana is flat as fuck.

Southern Indiana is Hillbilly as fuck.

You're probably looking for Hillbilly as fuck.

Based on your post count, I'll assume you're new and not a long time lurker. Your time will be infinitely better here if you put Futureman and Spider2YBanana on ignore. You'll also get significantly less people yelling at you for quoting them.
