- lately, the $9.95 chatter has been a lot more about Ojo as opposed to Turntine, and it would clearly be a tough pull to land both (and re: NIL, here's a quote about Jackson Cantwell (#1 OT) that puts the $$ in perspective, if the numbers are directionally correct - "Rosenhaus is believed to be aiming for a deal that would get his client a three-year deal with an annual average value of over $2 million."

- but I haven't heard anyone say definitively that it can only be one or the other

- and FWIW, Gerry had both in his class projection (but note, it was his Best Case Class ... )

Not sure how reliable he is but Charlie Williams from 247 said a few weeks ago he expected Texas to land both.

Gonna need both when Goosby leaves early as a first round pick.

1. Which recruits were in the car with the inestimable Nicolai Brooks?

2. What happened to their transportation, entertainment, etc. after the stop?

3. How did they like the weekend, all things considered?

4. Have their parents put two and two together?

Errybody's head is cut off. There was a band that used to do this when fans would approach them and want one of them to take a group pic with the rest of the band. Foo Fighters?

OTF has Sarks appearance someplace today and he said when he got to Texas there were about 32 active NFL players from UT. They've added 25 in just the last two years.

I know I'm being pedantic, but it was actually 28*

3-star++ is a new one. They really should just have a ten point scale if they're going to have this many tiers in each star level.

There was a website called Hockey's Future that used a 10 point scale to rank prospects' potential and had a modifier (A through F) to show how likely the player was the reach that potential. For example, Colin Simmons would have probably been ranked a 10A - probable high end first rounder who is extremely likely to reach his potential - and someone like Michael Terry might be ranked something like a 8.5B or 8.5C - obvious talent and potential to be a very high level player but maybe positional uncertainty and development questions might affect his ability to get there (and please don't crucify me if you're a huge MTIII fan - it's just a hypothetical example). And someone like Javonne Shepherd would have been something like an 8F because, well, many obvious reasons.

Just a thought but I think it would be cool to have something like that for CFB recruiting. Or maybe that's just a little too complicated for, ahem, "certain" members of CFB online community (read: SEC fans)

Late? They haven’t played their senior year of football.

Neither has Dia Bell, but he received an offer over a year ago. If you remember being a teenager, a year felt like an eternity, especially if you had been getting attention from someone else during that period.

Not even being facious, but if Simmons keeps it up he may go top 4. The kid is a prodigy.

I know you’re not being facious, but I am now interested to know what happens when you are being facious.

Yes, there's no useful metric to be gleaned or applied because not enough large, non lily-white dudes play the sport.

I thought it was interesting.
