Hilarious since we just put the two best RB'S in the league 2 years in a row, and 3 in two years. But sure, LSU, go there and grow to do nothing of note.

LSU fans are gonna be real mad if they ever learn to read and realize they haven't had a RB drafted in several years and not since BK got their

This sir, is base slander. Louisiana folks can read just fine. They move their lips as they read.  But they do get it done.

Now this voodoo of the intranet and indoor plumbing is a whole different thing.

Spoiler

Aledo 2026 three-star RB Raycine Guillory decommits from Texas

Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)

Aledo 2026 three-star running back Raycine Guillory has decommitted from Texas, he announced via social media.

The 5-foot-10, 180 pounder had been pledged to the Longhorns since giving his commitment to Tashard Choice and Co. back at the annual Texas Junior Day recruiting event on Jan. 20.

A soft commit since giving his pledge to Texas, Guillory took multiple unofficial visits since giving his commitment to the Longhorns including stops he made at Georgia and TCU amongst others.

Guillory's father spoke with Horns247 about the decommitment, saying "Just wanna leave our options open to many schools coming hard at him."

With Guillory now out of the class, the Longhorns focus with 2026 running backs now turns to prospects like Texarkana Texas High four-star Tradarian Ball, Carthage four-star KJ Edwards, Forney four-star Javian Osborne, and Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian four-star Deshonne Redeaux amongst several other rising junior backs.

WIth Guillory's decommitment, Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage five-star quarterback Dia Bell remains the only commitment in Texas' 2026 recruiting class.

After missing a few games due to suspension and injury, Guillory rushed for 1,236 yards and 17 touchdowns on 146 carries (8.5 YPC) as a sophomore in 2023. His sophomore season followed a breakout freshman season he had at Mansfield Lake Ridge where he rushed for 769 yards and nine touchdowns on 125 carries (6.2 YPC) in 2022.

At 5-foot-10, 180 pounds Guillory is ranked as the No. 21 running back in the nation and the No. 39 overall prospect in the state of Texas according to 247Sports.

I'm still trying to learn about the '25 guys, so I'm not familiar with the '26 kids except for Dia Bell. Anyone know anything about this kid? Should we be excited or is this a "meh" take?

He looks to be a top 200 type prospect at this point - https://www.on3.com/db/chris-stewart-241113/

And he looks fast - http://www.hudl.com/video/3/18159454/6509ae9dd45eb505983f2af7

If nothing else, I trust Sark and the staff to evaluate his position well

It's hard to get super excited about these really early commits in this day and age (other than QBs). Seems like we have a couple guys every year that jump on board early, then one or both parties just kind of move on once the cycle really gets rolling. Not saying Stewart necessarily fits that mold, but it's probably safe to say that the continued development curve will be watched with interest.

Yep.

Hunter Modden (who as far as I know still doesn't have a college)

Guillory

Hampton

And many others.

I can't take these early commits seriously, either. I have no idea why Sark and Co take them outside of QB. Especially RBs and WRs.
