That will be funny to look back on when we’re in here talking about game 4 of the ALCS getting rained out.

Why do you care what happens in Cleveland?

Yankee fan in Texas can't quite grasp the difference between "a particular October in New York may be rainy", which is absolutely true, and his statement of "October in NYC is no joke ... Rainy & stuff", which is demonstrably untrue (relative to other months in NYC).

The monsoon season in Mumbai has nothing on a New York October.

Officially starting to worry about Judge. He did have a day longer off than everyone else so it could be rust but given his sluggish end to the season it’s concerning.

Why do astro fans believe this stuff? They just played 162 games. You’re not going to be rusty after 5 days off, when you were throwing or working out on each of those days anyway.

Pitching vs hitting, totally different and I’m not contradicting myself. Y’all were saying your pitchers were rusty, I’m saying a hitter that just completed a media circus record chase is rusty. Not the same situations.

Falafel really got ahold of that one.

I don't get pulling Biebs here.  2 Ks this inning

Yeah, judge is costing himself gigantic amounts of money with this postseason. Fuck. He’ll probably barely end up getting more than the original offer after all.

He definitely can’t bat leadoff tomorrow.

What? How do you figure that? He's going to get 30m+ per year. Hell the Yankees might throw 35m a year at Correa too, just to fill out the lineup since that Kale Waffles guy seems like he sucks.

Putting up a gigantic dud in the playoffs is going to severely hamper his negotiation power. I thought that was common knowledge. Do you follow sports much at all?

They offered him 30m a year for 7 years (233m), and he 'supposedly' countered with 360m for 10 years (360m). I don't see any way he gets less than the initial 7 year / 233m from some team out there. His floor is pretty well set with how great he's been during the regular season, a few million here and there will come down to the bidders, not Judge in the playoffs.

Today was eye-opening. We don’t have the horses to beat these guys. Zero threatening hitters in the lineup, with judge a non-factor now and Stanton unreliable. Motherfuck. Fuck you Cashman.
