Regular season gets started tonight with a double header on ESPN. First up, 2022 ECF rematch as the Lightning travel to MSG to take on the young and talented Rangers. Followed by Vegas taking on the Kings in LA. Hockey is fucking back!!!

it actually started last week, but you would never know because the NHL sucks at advertising

If the Sharks were playing in Europe does it really count? Excited for the games tonight and the Stars on Thursday.

They controlled the pace of the game in the third last night. Torts has this team confident, physical, and playing with a sense of urgency. Surprised they have already surpassed New Jersey in their rebuild.

Toronto sucks and Keefe will be gone before the season ends. Their back end is brutal and goal tending is still sub-par. Curious to see what Mathews does this offseason. Think it won’t be a good sign for Leafs fans if he starts next season without a new contract.

The Bruins kinda stepped in it with this Mitchell Miller signing and then the league stepping in and saying "nawww." like, they have the best record in the league right now. why muddy shit by trying to sign that cretin? dumb move

Because Don Sweeney is stupid fuck. We should have gotten rid of this asshole years ago.

Pittsburgh is a good barn with decent fans.

If you hit NHL road games, I'd say - aside from the obvious Montreal's and Toronto's - two you have to put up there are Madison Square Garden and Staples Center with the Kings.

But most impressive arena to me is Edmonton. That thing is like the year 2071.

As a Bruins fan, I’m sad to say I don’t recommend attending a game at TD Garden unless you are a neutral fan. We can be very unwelcoming. It’s a great home atmosphere though!

Kraken beat Kings 9-8 in OT (despite not scoring in 3rd period); highest scoring OT game in NHL history. Squid have won 6 straight. Much more fun than last season so far....

Good win last night for the B’s. Scoring depth has been a real issue in the past but seems like we are getting good contribution from bottom 6 forwards.

Man, the Avs are so injured it’s not even competitive. The fact they are only a point or two out of a wildcard spot right now is impressive. MacKinnon, Landeskog, Nichuskin, Lehkonen, Manson, Byram, Helm, and Rodrigues all expected to be out for the next month.

just glad it wasn't the Stars

A day after the Stars beat the Caps, the Washington sideline bubba reported several Stars players said their team was motivated to not be the opponent when Ovi achieved his next milestone.

No way to know if that’s true, but it’s believable, I guess.

good. I doubt Ricky Henderson is happy he was Nolan's 5000th strikeout.
