Silver lining for the OL: Sure they let a three man front inflict a 4 yard loss on first down and committed a hold on what would have been a first down on second and 14, but they weren’t even the worst part of that series!

For all his impressive attributes, Ewers sure has made some bonehead decisions in his early career
He's a young kid with a full game and a couple of quarters. 'Member when Sam did something similar against WVU (I think) when he threw the ball away in 4th down and last play of the game? Mullet is getting the experience he needs to never do that again

Sark figuring out the ISU defense is going to be the key

OL needs to be better but Ewers needs to wake up. Sark had the calls to get TDs on both drives but Ewers made the wrong read on the 1st drive and Conner/Ewers fucked up the 2nd drive.

Players have to make thr plays. Neither of those was on Sark.

Where are all those dumbasses who were saying all week that the ISU defense isn’t good and it’s only because they hadn’t played any good teams?

And the ones that said it was somehow different for Texas, who also hasn’t played more than one defense worth a shit.

Not ideal.  We are shooting ourselves in the foot and their D is getting a lot of penetration.  Need to jump to a big lead.  Feels like a game we could get ref screwed if its close.
