Fangraphs has the Padres as the 51/49 favorites.  I think it should be fun seeing two new teams in this round and I hope it goes 6 or 7.

I like this series in that I don't hate either team.  Have liked the Padres through the years, and son lives about 5 blocks from Petco Park.  We were just at a Dodgers/ Padres game there about a month ago.  I like how the Padres 'fit' the San Diego culture.

Go Padres! San Diego in 6.

I've got nothing against either team, the Padres haven't been a contender in decades, and the Phillies only had a few years in the 2000s where they were. Both teams have notable stars, and have been scoring well so far in the playoffs. It should be a shootout for a few games, which is always entertaining.

I see my girl Milfy McBlondo is back in row 1.

And BILL FUCKING WALTON in row 2 on the other side!

I am so on the Pad bandwagon.

Just tuned in....first thing I notice....fucking Walton.

I bet he is high as fuck

I'd pay money to listen to Walton call this game instead of Smoltz.

Everywhere from Fleetwood Mac is a great song.

Fuck this car commercial for beating me over the head with it.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

And fuck Bill Clinton for doing the same with “Don’t Stop”.  /no CR

Nah… like 4th hardest this year.  Cruz hit one 122.

Oops. I thought the hardest was 118 or something. But a quick google does say Cruz’s 122 was the hardest ever. So it’s up there all time.

Homers only.

Yank-ees indeed!

I’ll see myself out…..

serious note, though, how Stanton generates that kind of bat speed with a closed stance is some kind of weird glitch in the matrix. Nuts.

Everyone standing.  Someone paid a grand to not be able to see the biggest ab of the night because they're behind goofyass Walton.

And now all up to Josh Bell.  Wonder what FJLA is thinking right now.
