Once asked to write a full story in six words, legend has it that novelist Ernest Hemingway responded: "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn."

No one knows for sure if he actually wrote it, but damn... those six words convey happiness, anticipation, hope, loss, sadness, surrender and finality.

I figured since we're a creative lot, especially when it comes to OU related haikus, we can have a challenge to see who can write a good 6 word story. I'll start.

"I know, and I'll do better."

I awoke to footsteps. Who’s there?

(We did this in 11th or 10th grade English I think, that was my submission. Everyone in class loved it and the hottest chick slept with me that night).
