Agreed. But it’s not good when you have to white-knuckle a 31-10 lead to the very end. This is a real problem.

A 21-point halftime lead on the road to the #13 is insanely above expectation. Regressing to the mean is expected.

would a 7 point lead the whole game be better?

So Martinez’ fumble and Yordan’s homer were almost simultaneous.  At least on my screen.  May have been a bit behind on Stros game.

Fuck the ‘Stros. Yes, I said it.

Astros win the WORLD SERIES .. That's 99/100 of the HS. What a sports day.

Horns win on the road against a very good ranked team, don't blow a 2nd half lead, and actually recover a fumble!

Bama, OU, Clemson lose. Mack is 8-1!

Astros win the world series,  Nothing else matters today.

Yay us, we didn’t completely blow a huge lead this time. All I’m saying is it’s becoming more and more apparent that Sark’s offense works in the first half and then doesn’t in the second half for whatever reason. That needs fixing for us to take the next step.

Rod Babers pointed out that the Texas offense becomes more vanilla as the game progresses from a multiple set / pre snap movement / misdirection standpoint for whatever reason.  Maybe they practice the scripted plays more and have them memorized, but struggle with the offensive play calling when it’s on the fly and situational, maybe it’s too complicated when it’s off-script, who knows?

It's clear that something different happens...  Not sure if mindset or plan.

Script the 2nd half... Let Marion or Choice call plays... Anything.

I think we blow them out if Worthy doesn't fumble. That drive was going well.

Second half penalties sucked too. Clean in the first half, false starts galore in the second. Wonder why that is.
