Republicans are evil, and Democrats are pussies...pick your poison.

My mantra as well except I used weak instead of pussies. Decorum. That said, choosing between evil and anything seems to be pretty easy.

I guess, but that kinda belittles the democrats that do get shit done. not ALL of them ineffectual. but MANY of them are not even playing the same game as the other side. one side is playing touch football and the other side is playing pok-ta-pok. Once more Dems start viewing the imminent threat in front of them more seriously they may change up their game. or they may not. who the fuck knows at this point?

That's my point.  I see all the tantrums being thrown by Dem politicians right now, but I see no action or accomplishment whatsoever.

If it's as "bad" as they say it is, then why aren't I seeing more from them?  At some point it becomes too late.

what "more" do you expect of them when they hold sway over exactly zero of the three branches? perhaps start lobbing that energy at the other side. you know, the ones doing all the criming?

How did the repubs stymie things when they were in the minority ever so recently?

My use of the saying was prior to MAGA. I was mortified with how they rolled over for W's Iraq invasion and, even further back, couldn't find the spine to reject Clarence Thomas because of fear of losing the Black vote. That was an insult to Black voters.

Since the shocking election of Trump, they've fought as well as they can. They impeached twice. The Jan 6 investigation was a masterpiece.

I'm in your camp now. I don't see them as ineffective. I see them as swamped by a fascist takeover that nothing has prepared any of us for. It appears that legislation is closed off because of the taint-licking GOPs. Legal action is thwarted by the MAGA control of the Executive.

Only a vast popular uprising will work here. The Dems can harness that, but they can't create it.

Did you miss the democrats are pussies part?  You really think the republicans will retain the filibuster if it stands in the way of their final solution?
