I guess Sheridan wanted equal opportunity SA's in the first episode after 2.5 years.   let's have a guy raped on a ship and girl tortured and left in a closet naked to be raped at will....

pretty fucking dark start Taylor...

She has this odd ability to look really pretty at times, then not so much.

Could've done without the ass rape scene.

Enough with the travel.  Get Spencer to Montana so I can see him wreck shop.

Yeah i'm gonna hate it taking till the end of episode 6 before he even sees the ranch...Episode 7 is when he'll actually be there.

And his wife won't get there till the finale.

It sucks cause Spence/wife was my fave parts of season 1.

Also, I'm fully on the Spences Kid is John Dutton 2nd, not Jacks kid.

The daughter from Landman attracts animals.

Cool scenes with The Galvez.  Family and I stayed there when I was 7.  We were broke AF, so I'm not sure how we pulled that one off.

Loved the scene with the bootleggers landing in front of Murdoch’s bathhouse and the Galvez. When I lived at Crystal Beach I did Sunday brunch in the main dining room with the kids countless times.

Maybe Sheridan can do an offshoot where they track the Maceo’s mob to the current Tilmann Fertita business empire.

In the attic bridal suite there is a party venue slash long wetbar with a billiards room for the gents. Not sure why I just remembered that, but it would be a cool place to spend a weekend.

I questioned why they sailed so far and only brought a couple of cases.

I surmised that they had switched ships in NYC, sailed to Galveston, and transferred just what they could stash in a rowboat. Obviously landing on the beach instead of the harbor was for theatric effect.

I watched S2 E2 smashed and late at night. I don’t remember much, but they for sure CGI’d the water. Galveston Bay is brown 99.999% of the time.

That was the Gulf of MEXICO. You can see the seawall, which was brand new then.

So Alex is loaded, couldn’t she hire private security in NYC to travel with her?

Another Spencer wandering through the desert episode. RIP Titter Tilman’s great uncle.

Sheridan is going to show them drilling into their poor bastard’s skull isn’t he?

I have a cousin that gets "bit" parts when they film in Hood County. He had a bit part as a cowboy in 1883, and apparently was on the episode of 1923 one of the last few nights. I don't really watch until there are enough episodes built up to binge a season. But it is pretty cool to see a familiar relative, up on the the screen.

So Spencer is going to find himself in West Texas, kill the ranger and priest, save Teonna and bring her back to Montana, right?  Probably with a short temptation from US Marshall Debra Morgan?

Holy shit I knew I remembered her from somewhere.

Unfortunately, I think we’re going to get another season of Spencer in The Odyssey, and the big Montana showdown will be the beginning of Season 3. If you don’t believe something like that could happen, go check out House of the Dragons.

Say what you want about Yellowstone, the early seasons had a beginning and a decisive conclusion.

Yeah I get the feeling they might drag his journey home another season then in the finale he ends up in Montana and shoots all the bad guys in the last 30 minutes.

There won’t be a season 3, according to Sheridan

yep that's my concern.

My prediction is Spencer shows up at the ranch at the end of Episode 6...gets a lay of the land episode 7 and the final showdown in Ep 8(not enough time for him to show out in montana IMO)

Oh and Alex and Spencer wont reunite until like the final scene or something.  Or at least somewhere in Episode 8.

Yikes to all that, but certainly a good guess. Typical Sheridan. Hey Taylor we can get you Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren for 2 seasons. Sheridan then writes at least 11 out of 16 episodes without Spencer ever interacting with Ford or Mirren.

Shooting the hobos was the most predictable Spencer thing ever. He should have just asked them “do you wanna die now, or in a few hours?”

Expand

He should have pitched them off and stayed with the train.  Not sure what his line of thinking was there.  Now, somebody down the line is going to find two bodies with holes that only a .450 Nitro Express could make and there's only one guy out there walking around with a .450 Nitro Express.
