Pawn Stars do America, Austin,

My wife loves this Pawn Stars spinoff. It’s a blatant Antiques Roadshow ripoff where the guys go to different cities and appraise/buy stuff. Anyhoo… last week they were in Austin, but obviously not actually IN Austin. They were in some old town looking spot filled with antique looking buildings, almost like a movie set. Anyone see this, or know where in the Austin area this may be?

Bed Caves Star Hill Ranch, where they filmed the Pierce Brosnan miniseries The Son, and some Bobby Flay BS.

glad we got to the bottom of that.

sidenote: my wife is related to a guy who worked on that bbq throwdown show. of course, it's mostly bullshit, and flay is a prima donna who couldn't mix with the help, but apparently jet tila was cool af

I know he said $1000 but that's retail. First I have to pay someone to clean it up and frame it then of course there's the auction house and their 30 percent fees.

One of the stars of the reality show “Pawn Stars” was arrested in Las Vegas last week on a charge of DUI, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department documents said.

According to an arrest report obtained by KLAS, on Sept. 8 at around 2 a.m., an officer in the area of Main Street and Charleston Boulevard saw a white Ford pickup truck “veering” back and forth between the right lane and the bicycle lane.

The officer began following the truck, activated their lights, and signaled for the driver to pull over. The driver of the pickup truck was “slow to stop” so the officer used a public address system to order the driver to stop, the report explained.

Once the driver pulled over, the officer walked up to the pickup truck, where the driver already had his driver’s license ready to hand over, police said. He was identified as Richard Corey Harrison, 40, who appears in the History Channel series, “Pawn Stars.”

According to the report, the officer told Harrison they had pulled him over because he was “failing to maintain the lane.”

Harrison offered the officer and explanation, saying his vehicle “does pull to the right,” police recounted.

The officer noticed Harrison’s eyes were bloodshot, “watery,” and “droopy,” adding Harrison had a “blank stare.” The officer stated that he could also smell a “strong odor of alcohol” coming from the truck.

According to the report, when the officer asked Harrison to step out of his truck, the “odor of alcohol followed his person.” The officer then performed a field sobriety test before taking Harrison into custody.

When asked to provide a blood or breath sample, Harrison said he should “probably ask for his lawyer,” the report stated.

Police took a blood sample from Harrison after the breathalyzer machine at the Las Vegas city jail was not working properly. The results of that blood test weren’t immediately available.

Harrison was booked into the Las Vegas city jail for DUI. He later told TMZ that he had just flown into town from a trip in Minnesota and had one drink while on the flight, hours before his arrest. He also told another Vegas outlet he plans to fight the charge.

I noticed the recent 'new' episodes were all from like '24, must have been using old footage that never aired.

Pawn Stars star Corey Harrison is asking fans for financial assistance following his motorcycle crash.

In January, the reality TV personality, 42, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, days before his father, Rick Harrison, married Angie Polushkin on Jan. 26.

The accident left him with 11 breaks in his rib cage, a concussion and internal bleeding, according to a GoFundMe page created by Corey’s friend Aron Chambers.

Chambers wrote that Corey was rushed to a hospital in Playa del Carmen, where he stayed for 14 days, until “the financial pressure became too much.”

Corey left the hospital against medical advice, and he was taken back home to Tulum. Once home, he had to call a house doctor because he “was in excruciating pain,” and the doctor administered IV fluids and morphine treatments, according to Chambers.

“Corey was incredibly hesitant to take heavy pain meds, especially after losing his brother Adam to an overdose just last year, but the agony left him with no other option,” Chambers wrote. Adam Harrison died of a fentanyl overdose in January 2024.

Days after the house doctor’s visit, Corey’s “oxygen levels plummeted to dangerously low levels.”

“In a heartbreaking moment that shook all of us to our core, Corey looked at us and said, 'I'm just going to die out here. I don't have the money to keep paying these people,' " Chambers wrote.

The group caring for him decided to drive him from the nearby tourist-area hospitals to over four hours away where there was a more “affordable” medical facility in Mérida.

“There were moments when we weren't sure we'd make it in time,” Chambers wrote.

It was upon Corey’s arrival that he learned one of his ribs “completely separated and was pressing into his lung.” As a result, he had nearly three liters of blood drained from his chest cavity and underwent three life-saving surgeries.

He remained hospitalized for 18 more days before he was discharged and learned that his medical bills amounted to over $100,000.

He is now seeking out help after he “emptied his entire bank account" and maxing out his credit cards.

“Being on television and part of Pawn Stars fame doesn't come with a built-in safety net for emergencies like this — medical crises don't care about celebrity status,” Chambers wrote, adding that Corey is still not strong enough to go back to the U.S. for further treatment.

“This fundraiser is our lifeline to get him through this,” Chambers wrote. “Asking for help isn't easy for someone as independent as Corey, but this accident has changed everything, and we can't do it alone.”

“He's the same resilient guy he's always been, just navigating one of the hardest chapters of his life,” Chambers added, before thanking users for their donations and support.

Corey told TMZ he is no longer affiliated with Pawn Stars but still receives some residual checks from reruns.

His father told the outlet, "Corey is a grown man and he will deal with his life as he sees fit."

At the time of Rick’s wedding, he visited Corey at the hospital, telling Fox News that “it sucks that he didn't [attend].”

"I wanted him to be there. He was one of my groomsmen," Harrison said. "But, fortunately, he lives just a couple hours from Cancun. So, I was able to drive down there and see him in the hospital, make sure everything was all right."
