Man I did not have TCU playing in the Championship game on my bingo card

Did anyone have 'em back when all the ESPN knowitalls made their picks at the beginning of the season?

I mean, this is definitely more of a targeting penalty than Overshown’s against Frank Harris.

They probably realized that Texas Christian was not Texas so no targeting.

replay crew bitched out

The football gods nodded towards sensibility.

If you call the targeting and ignore the illegal forward pass, well...  it'd be so typical for what has happened to college football.

Maybe I’m already drunk but it looks like he hits his upper back to me.

It doesn't matter. Or isn't supposed to. He lead with the crown of the helmet and made forceful contact.

So do you bench that center if you're Harbaugh? Major fuckup at critical moment.

are you high? arguably the best center in CFB

Should have been targeting

Yup, we've been called for targeting for much less than that.  They were too scared to possibly alter the game.  If it happened in the first half, it would've been called.

Ironic the frogs get through the regular season by the skin of their teeth but really dominated Michigan for a lot of the game. They earned the championship with this game.

Two replays that they got flat out wrong.

Michigan played like shit and didn’t deserve to win. But they got 7 points taken off the board by a review that both announcers and the rules guy said it was a TDs.

And I have seen way less get called for targeting. Still a lot to do if they call it. But that is tough.

What a Jekyll and Hyde game for Michigan. Looked great at times and looked like absolute shit at others

Looked like he lowered his head but side of his helmet made contact w ball carrier not crown. I don’t think it was conclusive. If targeting called on field it would have stood

I didn’t like stopping it there, but if you stop it and review it, you have to call it

Forward pitch was fine, it was the first forward pass of the down.

As for the targeting, he hit him in the upper back.

It doesn't matter where he hits him.

Doesn’t look like the helmets ever touched on replay

helmets don't have to touch. the defender has to be leading with the crown of the helmet.... which he was...

That doesn't fucking matter when you lead with the crown of the helmet. There are two types of targeting. Only one requires contact to the head of neck area.
