Sofia beat Jelena in straights. Fun match though, both just gripping & ripping.

“Rocky” anthem playing in the background.

Kenin is coming for her Aussie title in 2024.

Then Kenin lays an egg against Dolehide wtf.

Anyways we have Laver Cup this weekend! Team World is up 3-0 over Team Europe currently.

Didn’t Dolehide beat someone highly ranked last week? (Or the week before.)

I think that she’s having a moment.

First set went to a tie breaker.

Sinner serving at 5-2 in the breaker proceeded to lose both of his service points.

Álcaraz at 4-5 then loses the next two points on his second serves, including Sinner absolutely teeing off on the second serve into the deuce court cross court into the corner as Álcaraz lunges and flails at the ball flying past him.

So Sinner takes the first set 7-6 (4) and then comes back and breaks Álcaraz to start the second set.

Even more that Djokovic, Sinner is Álcaraz’s worst matchup.

Iga beat Coco 6-2 , 6-3.

And then Rybakina lost to Samsonova. 😕

Iga gets destroyed by big hitters with flat shots, so I would have liked to have seen Rybakina make the final.

German-born married lesbian American, Emina Bektas, just lost to Chinese Yuan Yue in the first semifinal in Seoul.

Half-Korean American #2, Jessica Pegula, is warming up to play a 33 year-old Belgian, Yanina Wickmayer, in front of a mostly empty stadium.

It is approaching 5:30pm on Saturday afternoon/evening in Seoul and you would never know that this wasn’t the morning of the first day of matches from the look of the number of fans in the stands.

Ons Jabeur doesn’t have to question whether she’s the fan favorite.

Anyone watched Hannah Klugman play? She's a brit. 14 years 8 mos, youngest to qualify for a w100 event.

Well, Emma Raducanu’s reign as Britain’s future was fun while it lasted.

The ladies are fucking murdering this venue, it’s dirty.

So sad the WTA has delved to this.

Last year in Fort Worth you would have thought that the tournament was being held during the COVID lockdown.

The arena was a ghost town.

Perhaps selecting the venue 6 to 12 months in advance and then promoting the thing and organizing the thing over those 6 to 12 months might make for a better year end tournament.

Maybe. 🤔
