Dementia in early 60s is probably CTE

Probably...but my best friend's dad got Lewy Body in his 50s without playing a down. It's terrifying.

First thought I had,  64? Damn, RIP Mr. White, Fight On.

And fuck USC, sounds like they pretty much shit all over him at one point.

Read the article that was posted above. I had the same thought initially. Could they have done more? Probably, but they didn’t do nothing.

One of my first college football memories was watching Charles White wearing #12 diving over the pile against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. I loved that dude. Way too young but he lived pretty hard at one point.

Damnit...legends of my youth stop fucking dying!!  64 is way too young. RIP.

Exactly what I wanted to express.  My family was stationed in Germany during his Heisman run and we didn't get much 'from the States' back then, but when I did get the Sports page, I was religious about following this guy during his Heisman year, keeping up with how many yards he had in the game the previous Saturday.

 Sad, this.

RIP Charles and thank you for keeping one 5th grader sane for a football season.
