This show is a fucking joke now. Season 5 is worse than Season 8 of GOT. Yes, it’s that bad.

Halfway through the 2nd to last episode and we have Sheridan showing off his own horse arena, cutting horses and ranch with an appearance by bitchy Beth. This show needs to die.

Beth still alive. Bad.

Hassie Harrison appearance with her shirt on. Bad.

Jimmy’s hat. Still horrific.

Horse trainer hang scenes. Good.

Turnpike appearance. Good.

Getting people drunk before an auction. Good.

Funeral scene. Good.

Tax scheme. IRS agents shoving knives into their ears good.

Sheridan writing himself into the script as a badass, con man, best friend, savior. LOL.

Jeez. We picked up this show in the last year because of all the talk about it. Managed to cruise through all the seasons to catch up to the current. Very early it was somewhat interesting. There was some meat to the episodes. But now the whole show is basically Dallas in Wyoming, with bad acting and grifting by the show’s creator and writer. What a joke. The end can’t come soon enough.

I noticed they called the finale next week the season finale. Not the series finale. Please God, no mas.

The finale run time is 1 hour 45 minutes, so I think they have enough time to land all the planes. People are pissed Sheridan spent most of the penultimate episode jerking himself off, but hey if you’re going to push Costner out you might as well spike the football.

Kayce and Rip still haven’t killed anybody to avenge John’s death. Odd, but both characters have mellowed in the later seasons. Kayce could never kill Jamie, but old school Rip would have stuck a knife through the back of the Jamie’s head within minutes of John dropping.

My predictions:

- Beth gets cute with Jamie, botches the murder, and they die together.

- Rip moves to Texas and makes spurs.

- Kayce deeds the ranch to the Res, and everybody lives happily ever after.

- Travis gets popped for steroids, and avoids prison time by ratting on Matt Gaetz.

And hired a model to play his girlfriend. Totally missed the opportunity for a naked cat fight with beth.

Bella Hadid is heavy into the cutting horse world. Her boyfriend is a horse trainer and she’s actually a pretty good rider.

I don’t think she’s been fully nude since the outdoor bathtub scene in Season 1. Back shots and side boob since then. Also Kelly Reilly hasn’t aged particularly well.

She wasn’t very hot back when she was hot.  All those drugs she did in “Flight” were hard on her.

Glad to see our decision to not bother picking this back up again appears to have been affirmed. I read a review of the last episode, the one y'all are discussing where Taylor Sheridan needlessly injects himself into the storyline and writes a love letter to his character. I also saw where he did much the same near the end of Lioness Season 2. This is why I haven't bothered starting Lioness or Landman.

This whole episode was Sheridan jerking himself off.  That Rip story about how they became friends gave me second hand embarrassment.

As masurbatory as the 10 minute scene of Sheridan was, at least it was mildly entertaining with Bella Hadid riding horses.  The central plot line about Jamie and Who Killed JR or whatever is cringy.  The acting is some of the worst I've scene.  It's like they're doing the first read but badly.  Scene with Beth in the bar was entertaining as well.

Never mind it's the second to last episode, was an hour and a half, and didn't advance the "plot" at all.

Bella was the NCHA rookie of the year.   She spends a ton of time at Silverado where the scene was filmed.  It's open to the public and has a cool bar and restaurant upstairs overlooking the arena.   Any given day you can be sitting there and look down and see maybe Tom Watson, Jay Novichec, Adon Banuelos, Taylor, etc.... It's definitely an "electric rodeo" scene.   And yes Sheridan is weird as fuck

When they buried Elsa Dutton, the Indian said his people would take it back in 7 generations. Is Tate 7th generation?

No, but he will become a regional distributor for them.
