NFL figuring out you should go for it on 4th and a yard is going to be almost as relevatory as the NBA figuring out a 3 pointer is worth 50% more points

Not every team has a line that can get them 3 yards everytime

Except he didn’t, he still had a foot down when he first secured it.

It's like trying to have a math conversation with people who believe 2 + 2 = 5.

Nope.  That was bullshit.  Left foot was off the ground when he secured.  (FWIW, I'm not a fan of either team.)

They showed a freeze frame with one foot on the ground, ball secure, then the other foot comes down afterward.

It was a catch.

Is this site full of retards? That was clearly a catch. 2 feet down after securing the bobble

Now it’s official, that wasn’t a catch.

Apologies. I didn’t realize I was arguing with a blind person, who’s also mentally challenged.

I just like how the standards for securing the ball on a sideline catch are nowhere near the same as standards for securing a screen pass that gets immediately stripped.

I guess the Eagles are also blind and dumb, considering they tried to rush the next play so it wouldn't be reviewed.

He caught the motherfucking ball. Secured it. Two feet down. Turned up field. If that’s not a catch, they just need to shut the thing down.

Agreed.  Defensive makes a well-timed and great hit but then the offense gets let off the hook.  Of course it goes both ways...I seem to remember Jamaal Charles arguably got let off the hook in the championship game with that catch/fumble/incompletion.

And yet the eagle catches the ball, takes two steps, fumbles, and Mike Pereira agrees its not a catch because he didn't take 3 steps with the ball.

Problem is if that is a catch then the Philly fumble earlier is a catch.

What team doesn’t do that on a close play?

I agree completely the rules are retarded.
