His highest run is elite 8, just like RT

Oh, damn. I, for whatever reason, thought he had made a FF at Arizona before.

But, unlike Terry, he can actually coach. We all knew Terry won with Beard's players. 2 full seasons in and he has done nothing. I'm sure he's a nice guy and blah blah blah, but he's a millionaire who can't win. He should stay as an assistant, whether it be here (doubt) or somewhere else. He isn't getting any better. Kids don't want to play primarily D, and he can't coach offense.

Beard was fired in January of 2023, and just two years later Terry is gone. That's how little faith they had, and they (as well as most fans) knew he wasn't winning with his own players. So if I had a choice on taking Miller or Terry, it would be Miller every time just because he's an offensive mind. Hopefully it's not Miller and it's actually a splash hire worth a shit that's currently in the tourney that already coaches in the SEC. Jmo

I don't mind Sean Miller, if he is the coach. I rather have a coach who plays good basketball and wins consistently than a flash in the pan who got lucky one season ala Shaka. If you give NIL support to a good coach, he is gonna have a higher floor and may win it all when all the chips fall in place.

And then she'll be in Austin on Monday for our game vs #8 Illinois?

And wakes up the next morning, still in Austin where she then announces she's never leaving.

It's 37 pages in 3 years. If you want a new thread go ahead, I'll keep plugging away posting the relevant stuff I see but there's just not gonna be a ton of discussion besides this month long period so a title change is probably all we need.

He has the intelligence of a TexAgs poster so he probably wants a new thread for every thought that pops into his brain. Plus, it’s probably hard for him to count to 37. Or 3.

I didn’t see a thread on it and it’s basketball recruiting related. Do we know who Chavez is committing to tomorrow?

It’s Texas or OU. She was at OU for their first round game. Did not make it to Austin for our second round game. Was in Austin for our season finale

Some regular people on x are saying OU. She went to a game there on Saturday I think.

If it comes to pass we'll have to get Helo some Sooner gear.

I refuse to believe this fucking guy still has eligibility left

Holy shit. This will be his fifth school in six years, and he’s actually been a contributing player each year. That must be an outlier. After looking like he'd never really put his potential to production (overhyped?, then two season-ending injuries), he finally did it at LBSU.

2024-25 was his COVID year and 2025-26 would be a medical RS year for 2023-24 (sports hernia)

Kind of like Tramon Mark - this was his COVID year and allegedly he has a medical RS for 2021-22 (played 7 games due to season ending shoulder injury)

Magoon Gwath might be the most toolsy player in the transfer portal right now, and the market is expected to cruise into seven figures, multiple sources told 247Sports. The San Diego State redshirt freshman is a fluid 7-footer who can stretch the floor and block shots. The reigning Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year is only scratching the surface of a sky-high potential.

Michigan, Kentucky and Washington are the three schools to watch here early. He's already been in contact with each, but there are also some rumblings surrounding Texas. New Longhorns coach Sean Miller will likely have to build a team from scratch. Gwath would be a good place to start. Michigan has a Sweet 16 date with Auburn to worry about first, but Dusty May is already hitting the frontcourt market in a major way to find a Vlad Goldin replacement. Wolvernie big man Danny Wolf could also leave for the 2025 NBA Draft.

Dailyn Swain is not expected to follow Sean Miller from Xavier to Texas. The 6-foot-8, 220-pound wing could make real money playing basketball one day, but he has to ace the portal process and find the right fit. Ohio State continues to check off a ton of boxes. Swain is a Columbus, Ohio native, and there's a huge hole on the Buckeyes' roster for a wing after Micah Parrish's exit. Plus, Ohio State could have loads of shooting with Bruce Thornton and Juni Mobley to cover up some of Swain's shooting concerns.
