Veesaar would be an unbelievable add. The PG thing is interesting given Pope and Mark haven't entered the portal yet. Frankly surprised we haven't lost more than Pryor yet?

Have we reached out to Kennard Davis?

I thought I had posted it and even ctrl-f searched to check but didn't realize it doesn't pick up the surlyx tweets as text. Oh well, was bound to happen with all these random mid-major dudes in such a short time

Former Miami signee, Top30 SG Matthew Able talks Texas visit, decision timeline

Quote

Four-star shooting guard Matthew Able took an official visit to Texas this week, the first high school visitor of the Sean Miller era. A one-time Miami signee, Able was released from his LOI after former Hurricanes coach Jim Larrañaga stepped down. Able, a product of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Sagemont Prep School, is still considering UM, but examining all options, including Texas, N.C. State, and Stanford. He officially visited the trio of programs over the last couple of weeks, stopping in Austin on Tuesday.

"It was really good," Able told 247Sports' Cory Smith. "I really enjoyed it. Coaching staff was super nice, super good to me, and it was just a great experience."

Able knew Miller prior to Texas as Xavier had offered the talented 6-foot-5, 190-pounder.

"Ah man, super nice, super humble guy," Able said of his impressions of the new Texas head coach. "He was very straight to the point in a lot of stuff. But he's also just a funny guy, really good dude."

As far as official visits, it's just the four aforementioned programs that Able will look at.

"Those are the four I think I'm going to take," he said. "I think I'm done with all the visits. I've seen what I need to see."

A decision is coming soon.

"I'd probably say the next week or two is when I want to make my decision," Able said.

Able is rated the No. 6 shooting guard and the No. 30 overall player in the country, per 247Sports.

Here's his 247Sports evaluation as to what he brings to the table:

"Able is a well-built wing with broad shoulders and a very sturdy frame that is only going to keep filling out. He has somewhat unorthodox mechanics for someone who makes threes in bunches, with just a slight hop into a noticeable twisting motion, but nevertheless a fluid release and soft ball. While the jumper looked like the first domino in his attack, he showed the versatility to also make mid-range shots off the dribble and solid athleticism in the open floor. The other thing that was very noteworthy, was Able's excellent left hand. He was equally comfortable, not just putting the ball on the floor to both sides, but even dunking with both hands. He also showed good perimeter footwork off the catch and was a competitive defender."

I've always said that black dudes can pull of the bald look better than white dudes.

I'm rethinking that now.

He has alopecia, it looks weird because he doesn’t have eyebrows either.

Charlie Villanueva, Josh Dobbs, and Landon Jackson all have alopecia too, as everyone on this board loves to point out a million times whenever they see anyone with alopecia.

Ah. Gotcha. He gets a pass then.

Back to my regularly scheduled programming...

the, "and will play for Sean Miller" seems really dumb.   Everyone knows Miller has been named coach, who else would he play for when he returns to Texas?

Sark.  He's moving to tight end, duh.

I wouldn't be too quick to judge Codie based on his first year. He was the National #66 recruit in last year's class.  KJ Adams was also the #66 national recruit and had a progression like this:

Codie will eventually make a leap. If not this year, then the year after.
