Someone tell Bruce this wasn't a challenge.  Blowouts are fine.

hate to see this. Everyone wants to watch the best players play. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery, and comes back stronger - better

Shockingly this doesn’t feel like as bad as it should mainly because he’d only made 6 starts so far. Yes it sucks to lose your ace but we’ve kind of been without him already and on pace to win a lot more than we did last year.

deGrom news stinks, but shouldn't really surprise anybody here.  This is still one of the top rotations in MLB.  Eovaldi and Gray are pitching like #1 aces.  Heany has the occasional frustrating start, but he shuts down the opposition more times than not.  Perez so far is the "weak link" and he's 6-1 with an ERA under 4.  We'll see if Dane keeps up his magic.
