Seager's importance? Team was 3-6 during that stretch when he was out with the thumb. 16-2 with him in the lineup since the All Star break.

He’s giving us peak Josh Hamilton production without Josh Hamilton inanity so we get to look forward to future greatness as well.

Yep.  There's a case for him to finish pretty damn high in AL MVP voting.

I'm not sure there's a player in the league that is more important to his team. There are other guys that are big, but Seager is money this year, deserving of MVP consideration.

Hambone. Might hit 4 homers. Might strike out 4 times on 12 straight low & way outside sliders. Depending on if it was a coke or Jesus day. Loved that dude.

One of the most physically gifted players I’ve ever seen. To bad he had a 10 cent head.

Shohei is probably more important but his team fucking sucks dick.

But baseball doesn't care very much about your team record.

Semien is actually slightly ahead of Seager in WAR - tied with Wander for 2nd behind Shohei.

It's just weird to make a case for a guy being league MVP when his teams still sucks.

Yeah but it happens all the damn time. It is what it is.

If they voted like the NBA does for MVP Seager might win it. But NBA players are so much more influential on game-outcomes.

We got to stop hacking at shit outside the zone.

Dude's pitching with a horseshoe up his ass. Our approach has been fine.

Even that Duran AB he worked the count fine.
