We can pretend the 2 ALCS appearances were really rehab starts for Max and he's ready to go tonight.  Really need him to go 5+ with 3 games in a row.  I feel like we'll know how our bats are going to go tonight based on the first inning.  Semien is definitely due. Feel like he breaks out tonight as well.

Got to attack early and build a good lead for him. Given they steal bases with ease, Max can't give them easy opportunities with walks.

Pfaadt's major league debut was this season against the Rangers:

4.2 IP, 9 hits, 7 ER

4 Home Runs - Heim, Taveras and Jung with 2

(Ignore the remainder of that game behind the curtain)

He was Pfragile, Pfrail and an utter Pfailure in the game.

It is also his Pfuture.

Pfuck yes the Rangers are winning this one.

I don’t understand why the order isn’t:

1) Semien

2) Carter

3) Seager

4) Adolis

5) Jung

6) Garver

7) Lowe / Heim

8) Heim/Lowe

9) Taveras

But I haven’t won 3 World Series and don’t pitch products like Bruce Bochy’s Chicory-Flavored Coffee Tobacco Cologne & Leather Tanning Kit For Kids, so what the fuck do I know.

you'd go R, L, L, R, R, R... for your first 6?

I’m strictly thinking of guys that get on base (and it is just a matter of time for Semien to do it more consistently, and Leody can draw walks), and then my 3-5 can and will knock them in. I think L-R sequentially is an overrated consideration. I’m sick of solo shots. If our deep ball isn’t there we run the risk of a poor offensive game.

Regardless, our 5-9 guys outside of Jung must start hitting.  We need pre-WS Mitch, and desperately need non-shit plate appearances from Lowe, Leody and Heim. They’ve done very little the whole playoffs.

And moving your very best hitter down is ridiculously fucking stupid.

To cleanup, where he’s been batting all playoffs?  When it only matters for first inning purposes if one of the other high OBP guys don’t get on?  Well, okay.  I disagree.

I was referring to your idiotic suggestion of moving Corey to 3.

I've already wasted too many words on you.

I’d have batted him there all season.  I’d always put a guy that is .327/.623 and 33 and 96 in the 3 hole. Weird having a guy that would’ve hit 45 HRs in a full year hitting 2. He clearly would have had more RBI that way.

Feel like Max is vintage tonight. He was much better in game 7 and only got pulled because Yordan doubled on a pitch only he could drive for power.

Garcia in front of Carter is good as well need more protection for Corey when Marcus finally gets it going.

Jon Gray will be the starter tomorrow night for game 4.

Pretty sure I saw Bochy said not so fast on that report.  That it may be Gray but also could be Dunning or Heaney.  Sounds like it all depends on how tonight goes and if they need to use one of those arms.

Ahhh ok. And I'm sure game 4 will be a bullpen type game for both teams.
