For males of a certain age, she was it.

RIP, Ms. Welch, you were a beauty and a dame who didn’t seem to take any shit, whether when facing off against dinosaurs, bitches on roller skates or Phil Donahue.

Women over 75 who've still got it?

The hottest scene she ever did was in 100 Rifles.

She was taking a shower under the water tower to distract the soldiers on the train that stopped.

She was only wearing a white men's shirt at the time.

That's one bad chica. Loved that scene. Beat me to it.

Still the best version of the Three Musketeers ever filmed.

RIP, beautiful.

Excellent observation.

It's hard to imagine what a sensation she was in the 60s. She was the default name for an example of an irrestistably sexy woman. Made some solid movies, too. It's funny to think of what a bid deal it was in Fantastic Voyage when her wetsuit had to be unzipped to save her life. No nipples or anything, but it was a very arousing moment in an otherwise poor movie.

Rest in peace. You will still walk in the memories of many and probably all of the boomers.

Of all the sex goddesses of her era, she might be the only one that did no nudity. She knew how to go to the line with it but never crossed over even though she had a relationship with Playboy. That era saw a lot of celebrity women doing Playboy and actresses doing nude scenes.
