That's insane.

26-3.......

That's usually the final score of a game vs Bama in football for us.

Not a baseball game...when hosting... Vandy...  on a friday night...

Make way. I'm jumping on yalls bandwagon extra early this year..

1-1 tie in the 10th between LSU and Arkansas turns into a 9-1 Arkansas lead.

LSU has some of the best talent in the country at the top of their roster, but I question their depth in a few areas and they are counting on freshman in some key spots.

I'd love to see those cajun cocksuckers meltdown

Gata beat Ole Missy in game one. Starting game 2 now.

1-0 gata top of first

Georgia scored 24 on Auburn today.

What bullpen doing?

Edit: 6-0 top of third.   Prolly got this.

Swept ole miss at Oxford for the first time since 1988.   Two freshmen hit a combined three dingers today in crucial innings.

Life is good right now.  Rebels will not be #13 come Monday.

Thursday night college baseball fix:

SCar at MsSt, 6PM. SECN

Stanford at OU, 6:30PM, ESPN+   (3 game series)

Tenn at LSU, ESPNU, 7PM   (should be a good one)

SCar 6  MsSt 4

LSU 5  Tenn 2     LSU scored 3 in the bottom of the 8th to break a 2-2 tie.   All time record crowd at The Box, 13K.   Unfortunately,  the right field bleacher crowd threw cans and trash onto the field in the 8th for an inexplicable reason.   I suppose to celebrate the 3 runs.

ATM has a win over Tech, one over LSU and two versus Ole Miss. The quality of the Tech and Ole Miss wins isn't as solid as most years (RPIs of 49 and 50, respectively). The other 13 wins are flaming poo. 3 against University of Seattle. 3 against a school called "Northern Kentucky". 5 against mediocre to bad schools in Houston (3 v Rice, 1 v UH, 1 v HCU). 1 against Portland while losing that series and 1 against Incarnate Word.

The rest of their schedule consists of playing a whole bunch of teams that look better than them. They either save their season by getting a whole lot better quickly, or they're not making the tournament. Their remaining 7 series against SEC teams involve RPIs of 46 or higher. UTSA's RPI is 33. That leaves Texas State, a capable opponent, and then 4 local gimmes in PVA&M, UTRGV, Tarleton State and SHSU.

They've got a great shot of finishing right around .500. Like 28-27 is pretty believable.

You know they’ll probably drop one of those.

I don't know if SHSU should be lumped in with the others. They are probably a regional team again this year.

What is their RPI? If I remember correctly, their schedule and record are not impressive.

Not great, but I guess they could claim the auto bid from the WAC. That seems to be the only path at this juncture.

The proposed Stanford Regional also has three:

I did not do an exhaustive search, I do find it interesting that the ones I did find were all in California.

So now I am looking forward to the first one with four.

Gata beat the Vols-in-Tears at their place 6-1. Three or four dingers.  Fuck Tennessee always

9-3 Gator win.  Hopefully sweep tomorrow.

Mizzou gets walk off single and scores 2 to give Vandy its first SEC loss.

Vitello is a good coach but think some jumped on that bandwagon way too early.

It'll be at least every other year, plus a chance in the conference tournament (this all assumes the SEC doesn't match the UTs as permanent rivals, which I don't imagine they will).

16 teams, nine conference series a year. Two permanent rivals, rotate the other seven teams every other season.
