We only looked inept on one side of the ball.

Sark would never do it but we would’ve probably beat them with a fucking Charlie Strong offense with Wingo at wildcat faking the jet to bond and running read option with blue the whole game.

I think the SEC CFP apocalypse would be pretty fucking funny..

1) Georgia Tech beats Georgia
2) Texas beats Texas A&M
3) Auburn beats Alabama
4) Vandy beats Tennessee
5) Clemson beats South Carolina
6) Texas beats Georgia

Possible at-large teams:
Ole Miss 9-3
Tennessee 9-3
Georgia 9-4

I'm here for it...

Sec says not gonna happen.  Think about what that means for the other games on the list.  Especially ours.

If it was going to be 9-3 Georgia in the game I could see them rigging the game for TAMU knowing UT is in no matter what and that way at least one of the 9-3 shitboxes would get in.

As it stands now TX & GA are in and if Tenn beats Vandy then Tenn is in as well giving the SEC 3 teams for sure.  I think at that point they are fine with letting the chips fall where they lie since Ole Miss is already locked in at 9-3.  I don't see them rigging our game for A&M then the SECCG for A&M just to get them in because it would cost Kiff dog/Bama a spot instead.

Pretty solid effort despite the Texas omission. Starting to drill into the aggy weirdness and bizarre sense of entitlement. Only took them a decade to figure it out.

They've had it figured out for a while.  They generally ignored them for the first 7-8 years

thats like the mistress being convinced her lover is going to leave his wife for her.

They never said that. They did say we were aggy’s, which is true.

I guess I overlooked it when the schedules came out, but I  would have flipped it to Arkansas-LSU and OU-Misery. As Roll Call pointed out, OU-LSU feels very forced. They have almost none shared history.

ESPN asked MS State and Ole Miss to move the Egg Bowl to Friday afternoon. You have to obey a direct order from the Mouse, but it’s a much better game on Thanksgiving night.

Prediction : Lots of complaints about Texas's schedule , No one actually wanting Texas on their schedule in place of any other teams other than maybe Georgia

I mean, it’s the exact same as this year, just flip the home/road. It’s mostly just knowing dates of games

Sources: South Carolina finds next A.D.

SEC program turns to proven Big 12 leader

John Brice      8 hours ago

South Carolina's quest to find a replacement for Ray Tanner atop its athletics program is complete.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell FootballScoop Wednesday that current TCU Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati will depart the Horned Frogs program for the top spot at the Southeastern Conference program.

A formal announcement is expected in the coming days.  For Donati, it's a prime opportunity at a state flagship school in college athletics' most competitive conference across all sports, and it brings to an end a decorated run at TCU.

Head of the athletics department for seven years, Donati, who has a law degree, has overseen TCU's rise to win eight different national championships in various sports and double-digit Big 12 Conference crowns; his hiring of Sonny Dykes also helped the Horned Frogs reach the College Football Playoff title game two years ago.

Tanner, a multiple-time College World Series champion baseball coach for the Gamecocks, has been atop the South Carolina athletics department the past dozen years. It was announced earlier this year that Tanner would wind down his oversight of the Gamecocks's athletics department.

He hired Dawn Staley, who quickly transformed South Carolina women's basketball into the nation's top program with a trio of national championships, and also hired Shane Beamer to run South Carolina football. The Gamecocks just defeated rival Clemson to finish 9-3 and are on the cusp of the CFP's 12-team field.

South Carolina conducted a months-long national search to find Tanner's replacement, and SMU A.D. Rick Hart was among other finalists before Donati ultimately was the choice.
