Jackson Arnold has actual shit for brains, aside from being a terrible quarterback, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more brain dead player.

Watching Burks ream him out for not even looking his way as the first read was...

Those guys bitching about Arnold were all predicting 3,200 yards, 30 TDs, 800 yards rushing, for him last off season.

I love how they’re all bitching about their schedule.

What I love is how this board called Jackson Arnold correctly the entire time. He’s a classic indictment of all of the foibles within the $9.95er space as well as OU fan hubris.

I'm still surprised OU didn't kneel and play OT.  It was so obvious that the odds of a game losing TO were higher than the odds of that trash offense driving the field for a score with a minute left.

why would you be surprised by that knowing they are lead by BV... who isn't known for making smart decisions as a HC?

faking a punt on his side of the field?

Eh, they needed forty yards for a last FG attempt to avoid OT. It’s not too much to ask your second year QB, making his eighth start, to understand that he should kneel and take the sack if anything goes awry.

I have no GD idea what they’re doing in QB recruiting. They need a variety of immediate help, and their current 2025 QB commit is 3 star Kevin Sperry from Denton Guyer.

They can’t afford Underwood, but they should be chasing Russell, Longstreet, and JuJu.

They need a jackpot in the portal, and I’m not sure if they can afford/land a player like that, and it’s not a guarantee he’ll pan out.

They also have to convince Hawkins and Arnold to not leave immediately after the portal opens. I’m sad they won’t be bowl eligible. They’d almost certainly start Casey Thompson in the bowl game and get waxed.

The idea that they think they're firing BV is amusing. They would owe him almost $45mm after the 2024 season & $35mm after next season. They were smart enough (or so poor) that the contract allows for them to pay him in monthly installments if they so choose with no lump sum requirement. It's like rent-to-own except for a coaching buyout. Rent-to-Buyout.. rent-to-fire.. rent-to-??. Do they have enough to pay BV $3.75mm/year + someone worth a shit? I say no. I wonder if they can ask the SEC for an advance on their first payment?

And their dumb ass mods and regards like Ikard and Lehman argued that it was a smart move to extend Venables to bring him up to SEC average salary. They could have just given the guy a raise without additional years.

Arnold had 74 passing yards on 24 attempts. I've never, ever in my life seen a stat like that. If that doesn't tell you how shitty he is, and how retarded the recruiting rankings are at giving him a 99, I don't know what to tell you. Worst QB I've ever seen. Full stop.

I can't tell you how happy I am that they gave this fraud a 6 year extension after one 10-win season. Oklahoma aggys. I love it. Keep Brent Venebals around forever.

Pretty weird move considering they were consistently better than that for a while. Good job, dickmunches.

Side note, how shitty must Casey Thompson be if he cant get on the field over these two deep fried turds?

It really is mind blowing they would pull the trigger like that before entering the SEC to see how he would fare. Good thing they're morons.

This is what boggles my mind. The dude has played at 3 schools, not particularly well, except for a 2-3 game stretch for Sarkisian at Texas, but he's immensely better than Arnold or Hawkins.

Also, I want to be the first one here and calling bullshit on how great their next OC is going to be when hired. Sure Ian Boyd is already writing an article about running QBs and Texas High School football and their new OC is a super genius doing it.

Of course. Water is wet. Son in law/co-conspirator Lebby didn’t even move the needle with anyone because it’s ou and expected. Nothing is too low. I’m surprised they haven’t already.

Saw blOU guys on a YouTube livestream saying you can still recruit with a 5-7 record -- just need money.  He referenced Texas after Sark's first season and their "Pancake" fund...   12:45 mark

Does he mention that Sark was in year 1? That recruits knew who their OL coach was (Flood)? That Venables is in year 3 and Bedenbaugh is likely canned?

yeah, they don't seem to consider that when making that type of statement.. seen it all over twitter too.. They think this is the same situation as the '22 class when Sark was coming off his first season.  Who the hell struggles this badly in year 3 of their regime?

Fong/Scruggs all feel like Fasusi will stick with ou.. he's taking these visits to get one last look and see if either school shows him something for him to flip.. or to choose between the two if ou implodes with a new staff.. thinking that means if BB is let go by whomever the new OC would be?
