To install subframe connectors between the front and back. All I did is open the box end and the connector slides inside of the front and then gets welded to front and back creating a full frame rail front to back. 
Later I can use it as an anchor point for a driveshaft loop  
There’s a video of it on instagram 
 

I did this on mine. Much sturdier.

Had a deep need for storage in the truck, and now that I don’t have a gas tank taking up 1/3 of the cab, decided to go for it.

There was nothing on the shelf for trucks before the 90s, so I followed this dude’s lead and went the Molle route:

Ended up doubling down on the soundproofing, but I think this is gonna work really well. No space for the ammo cans, but plan on building a similar hidden cabinet for a few rifles next.
