Right before I pull them I give them and the mushrooms & unjuns a glaze with whiskey and a torch for the flame up.

Then you flip the shrimp and catch it in your hat?  Or do you do that before?

Where are y’all buying yours from? I see a pretty good deal on Amazon for the hard cover/4-burner for about $350. Is that about as good a deal as I’ll find? I was surprised the lid costs as much as it does.

Let’s talk spatulas. My head says made in China combo pack from Amazon but my heart wants a couple America-made Dexter Russells for three times the price. What sayeth ye

Funny, I just got these last night from Amazon for $15.99.  I made burgers with some sautéed mushrooms/peppers/onion with them.  I fucked around with all of them to see what I liked/didn't like about all of them.  They all worked just fine.  No clue how they'll hold up and I have nothing to compare them to, but they were a hell of a lot better than the regular shit I'd been using.  For that price for all those pieces, I figured fuck it.  Especially since, as you said, most of the others were around 3 times the price.  Here's a link...

Four pounds of shrimp cooked at 3 different heats. Brocoli, onion, and Anaheim peppers. They had oyster in the full shell at market street thst were actually pretty good. Also, some squid so my kid could try it. a6117f394fd0663bfcde12e358204268.jpg

Need to toss the fork.  Never stab meat while cooking.

Old myth, debunked by multiple studies. Stab away.

/tangent, not griddle: I actually prefer a pigtail flipper for huge grilling cooks, it's just faster than any other tool.

There is definitely something cool and manly about them...in a knuckles dragging the ground, barbaric kind of way.

That is a fucking good looking burger.

Haven’t read the whole thread: does anyone have the combo griddle/air fryer? Seems interesting.

Seems kinda like a waste to me. I should have bought the stainless pro model last year and didn’t. Now I can’t find them.

I don’t see a pro model on their website.

Yeah me either. But I’m pretty sure that was what the box had on it. Maybe it just said stainless and had something like that on the box. It’s been a while since I saw it.

Might I suggest cleaning the bird shit off of the table before serving your guests?

That's actually blown off powder coating. Got a little agressive with the power washer.  4200 psi will do that.

FYI. Academy has a 4 burner outdoor gourmet for $199 (normally $299). Seems to have decent reviews as long as it stays seasoned and covered.

I’ve got one that’s like 9 years old. Bought it before I’d ever heard of Blackstone. Used the hell out of it. I need to clean it up and reseason it.

I bought this on a whim a few weeks ago. Might have been chemically altered and suckered into a targeted Instagram ad. I already have a Blackstone and this is just basically a blackstone on top of a blackstone on your gas grill. I was looking for a way to cook chicken breasts similar to one of my favorite Middle Eastern restaurants. I love the way it cooks chicken. Have not tried anything else yet.

Saw this on Reddit. This store was in MO but might be worth looking around at the clearance section in local Walmart’s for a great deal. I actually own this version and love it
