Fun fact for Blummer, Tucker is not very fast

Tucker has been a + base runner in every season in the majors, except his rookie season. Your reliance on straight line sprint speed when players have to run in a circle is fucking moronic.

No, the point is you let Meyers hit and then PH for Maldonado because he would only come up if there were a RISP

He was never going to pinch hit for Maldonado after already using Diaz.

Why?  Isn't that why we're carrying Salazar?  And it was still the same inning, Diaz could have stayed in at catcher anyway.

Nm, forgot Julks was at DH.

We would lose the DH, which I guess is fine.

He is a good base stealer and has good instincts. If you were listening Blummer specifically called out his speed.

I blame Diaz for not knowing the situation and not hitting a homerun instead of a single. Cmon rook.

This is what I came to post. Dusty is pissed at Diaz for only driving in 1 run with 1 PA instead of 2. Fucker.

If our shit offense could score runs consistently we wouldn’t be bitching about pitching so much.

If our lineup allowed was optimized for it daily that would really help

Dusty's refusal to pinch hit for Maldy is infuriating and defies any logic whatsoever. In the 9 outs between the 8th and 10th innings we allowed perhaps the worst hitter in the majors to record two of them despite having a backup catcher on the bench. Make it make sense.

#1 era

#6 whip

that’s entire pitching staff. We’re not scoring runs to support some excellent pitching. Bullpen stats aren’t too far off those numbers. 1.27 whip is avg, like it’s been said need to on walks and hits.
