I see moustakas homered in his first AB today.

I fear that may turn out to be the worst move we didn’t make all year.
Veteran LHB. Plays 1st, can back up 3rd.

solves virtually every weakness you have in your infield in one person.

Could have given Bregman a day off, Abreu a day off or if either one get hurt we aren’t playing some AAAA scrub name Bannon or Madris. And for anybody not named Yordan at DH. It would have been a rental insurance policy for us for a veteran guy. He’s actually doing well at the plate this year. And the Angels got him for an A ball 11th round draft pick pitcher. Could have worse guys on your bench. Oh hey guys on Astros bench.

Jeimer Candelario is a similar guy who is a rental and available on a $5mil contract but he may actually make NL All Star team.

I’m a hard ‘no’ on getting another bat. We have plenty of hitters, just need to get healthy and get them going

we’ll need some arms. The BP is getting heavy use

Kalas having a hard time comprehending the Rangers series is Fri-Mon with Blanco and Brown locked in for Fri Sat.

I’ve been doing a lot of yard work in the backyard this week in the evenings. I can only imagine what my neighbors think.
I’m sure it’s somewhere between wanting to call the cops for a welfare check, hoping I’m taking some kind of meds, or hoping it’s Tourette’s that stays under control. (“TUCKERRR!!!”)

TUCKERRRRR!

Nice to see him in control. We're gonna need the pen in Arlington, I'm guessing, so nice to give them a bit of a break.

from St Louis broadcast, "France has 4 innings of 10 pitches or less"

Noice.   I have enjoyed their broadcast.  Virtually zero whining/ bitching.  Just calling the game with expected local tilt.  One thing i enjoy about streaming is getting one broadcast per series from the opponent, although some mofos get cut off quickly.  LOL  just run back to Blummer, TK, and Julia.  Fuck those other putos.

Unrealistic hypothetical situation, since we lead big... say we have a chance to trade for Ohtani at the deadline. It would cost a bunch of high rated players, and it's likely a one year rental. Do you do it? If he doesn't stay in LA I doubt we are on his list of desired teams, which I get, but if he does want to win a championship or two, Houston should be an option IMO. Would we be willing to pay 500 Mil, which is the number being thrown around by pundits?
