82-62. Winning record secured.

Most games over .500 all season.

I think 92-70 would clinch a playoff spot and most likely be good enough to win the division. 94-68 would more or less be a guaranteed lock on our 6th AL West title in 7 years.

Neither Seattle, Texas, nor Toronto currently projected to finish with more than 90 wins. No one else in the AL has even a faint hope of a wild card.

Let's do 95-67.

i truned down botty calls yesterday and today to focus on the Stros.

they're gaining momentum.  staying hot at the right time of year.

just get into the playoffs and make another run.

Kids made it through 3.2 innings before we left. Got lemonade in the first, ice cream in the second, Paw Patrol on the phone in the third before the two year old lost it. It was 3-0 at the time, so not bad. Looks like we missed a lot of fun, but the highlights for them we're meeting the dog, checking out the team store and the train whistle on the Altuve homer. Fun stuff, but next time I'll just take the oldest though.

Daddy can I have $200 for a jacket?

If she’s my granddaughter, I’m buying her the jacket.

I feel very privileged to have witnessed a guy getting a home run in each of the first 3 innings in a game (happened 4 times) and a guy getting 2 triples in an inning (11 times)… within the same week.

and we won both games!

maybe next game I can see Yordan join Tatis Sr.

I think he had more triples than doubles that year.

I think you're right. I remember 12 triples to lead the league. He would jerk the bat off his shoulder and the ball would go perfectly down the line to the 340 sign.

The Astros outscored the Texans today.

Take the Astros 4 highest run totals so far in September (13, 14, 12, and 12), and I’m not sure the Texans beat that average in their first 4 games).

that’d be a good prop bet.

Correct. 12 to 10.

I liked this rainbow one more, but it was also $200. Just ridiculous prices for a sequin jacket. My wife said she would want one of those for Christmas, but considering today was the first 3 innings of baseball she's watched since Game 6 of the WS last year, I'm not convinced it's worth it. You do get a one-time 15% off coupon for the team shop with the Buddies program, so that may be worth it next year if you plan on making a big purchase after they win the 2023 World Series.

Lots of fail in that post with the attachments ^

Yesterday was probably the best game I had attended all season.  Been to about 25 home/away and my record attending is back like it is 2013.  Glad to see them put it on a team.

Padres have one elite pitcher who gave them hope.

The Astros erased any glimmer of optimism by the San Diego club after that.   I liked the response.
