Season on the line and we go to the arsonist. At least nobody is on and he gets a clean inning I guess. 
just seems pointless not to go to the guy with the sub 2 era who has pitched the 7th all year. 

Was Montero not available?

Yes. This is why I call him the arsonist. Because when there’s a little fire going he turns it into a full on blaze. Has all year. But yeah- he’s been fine when he gets clean innings.
