Doesn’t sound like amputation was necessary.
Yordan Alvarez is better. Dusty says they’re hopeful he’s back tomorrow.

So in Dusty speak, that means “Labor Day.”

this may be strong in confidence but it's lacking in reality imo., Seattle is a very good, young team with playoff experience that has proven the ability to stay hot for a long time.

If you speak this into existence I will hunt you down and gut you. I’m afraid you might be right.

Can someone explain why last night TBS was a blackout and now I can't watch this on MLBTV tonight too?

MLB blackout rules are a fucking beating. Even when they are nationally televised I can't watch them?

Total bullshit.

Yeah. The organization will thank you for missing out on a rookie of the year and the extra draft pick next year because you’re stubborn ass refused to play him more often than not the first 4+ months of the year.

And Schwab’s company-line reply about “intangibles“ needed at the catcher position that he needs to learn…I’m betting Diaz can still pick those up before games and on the bench between coming up to bat every 2 or 3 innings as the DH and regularly hitting 110+ mph piss rockets.

Nevermind Maldy, absolutely no excuse for him to still be behind guys like Julks and Meyers in PAs with the injuries to Yordan opening up a huge # of DH opportunities.

Urquidy doing urquidy things. Sorry for spelling.

Sometimes strikes aren't always the best things to throw.

Oh well. Let the office keep scoring.

the ball that Verdugo hit was up and away.  It wasn't a mistake pitch.  It was a great swing of the bat.

Correct. Not when AT&T sportsnet is also broadcasting and you are in the defined Astros territory.
