Imagine how mad yall would be if it happened to Caitlin

I wonder if she would start crying. It's weird to see in sports, but also not weird with females playing sports, but I'm just so confused still.

Looks like Clark and Co. completely embarrassed Chicago tonight. She is just a flat out baller. Indiana is going to be great if they can add more shooting next year. Surround Clark with wings that can run the floor and shoot and this team is going to be on the level the Aces have been at the two prior seasons to this one.

She looks so horribly uncoordinated.

That sums it up in fairly nice terms. If you told me Dennis Rodman had another daughter besides Trinity that was a basketball player who would rebound and completely neglected shooting and that this was her I wouldn’t believe you because the Worm put bunnies in for 2. She is, well, just someone I would never want taking any shot for my team. I would trust Ben Simmons shooting a three in Game 7 of the Finals for the win before I would trust Reece to make a layup

Sorry... Caitlin had 12 assists and 31 points

Rookie sensation Caitlin Clark was spellbinding with 31 points, a career high, and 12 assists. She is the fifth player in WNBA history with 30 points and 10 assists in a game and third to achieve that stat line in regulation.

It's not just her inability to make easy buckets. That video of her double dribbling her way down the court makes me cringe. She looks like a 4 year old kid in a youth league game.

yesterday espn released their wnba rookie rankings where they had angel reese at no.1 ahead of cc. it was an espn+ article where you could see that they had reese no.1 even if you don’t subscribe. the clickbait was so asinine i didn’t even share it here. whoever wrote the article should retire from shame. angel reese is flat out not good at basketball. what a joke this whole “rivalry” is.

It’s somewhat incredible to me that she has made it this far as a player without being able to be good at aspects of the game that are taught to players while they are in elementary school. Not everyone is going to have Magic Johnson’s ability to lead the break, but to dribble like you just started playing basketball last week is something that is worthy of the Torbush gif.

Clickbait.   Manufactured drama.  And racism.

Clark went into Chicago and spanked the Sky's fuckin ass tonight.

Consolation prize: another meaningless double-double for Reese.  11 rebounds and 10 points on 4-9 FG and 2-5 FT while amassing 5 fouls and 4 TO.  To her credit, a scan of the game log implies none of her OR's are from her own missed shots.

Going to go out on a limb and guess 80 percent of the crowd was there to see Clark. No way they showed up to watch the home team that’s now 11-20 on the season. It’s also not a super long drive for people to make from Iowa or Indiana.

So what I’m seeing is angel outrebounded  clark again

Despite Reese’s presence the Sky’s attendance is up 1600 per game

Garbage teams gonna do garbage things. Stilll you would think the league office might want to start handing out some hefty fines and suspensions for this stuff since the excessive fouls are targeting the face of the league.

Or they can just let this keep happening and continue to turn people off to the sport.

How much of the overall increase is from games where the Fever are the opponent? Like a solid number showing the percentage of fan increase due to games played at home against them.

Dumb question amnesty.... Are there more flagrants, per Capita in the WNBA than the NBA?  Because it sure seems like there are... Just don't know.

I’m not a math whiz but I would think she is a factor.

if you’re a Reese fan, do yourself a favor and don’t google “Indiana fever attendance.”   Caitlin is her

More than 500,000 fans have now watched Caitlin Clark’s record-shattering rookie season in person, setting a new attendance high for a WNBAteam.

The Indiana Fever recently reported that 503,921 visitors have attended the team’s 31 home and away games this season, including 17,274 who watched the Fever beat the 22-8 Connecticut Sun 84-80 Wednesday night.
*with 7 games still to play

————————
2022+ 2023 (38) Fever home game attendance 113,300

She gets the loudest cheers everywhere she goes. That has to suck if you're playing her at home. It's like when Jordan was playing in the 90s, people just wanted to go see him, they didn't care about the home team.

Yeah, glad some media stepping up.  I'm sure part of this is just for clickbait, and a strategy to get more WNBA publicity...

Why can't we just move past the fact that Sheryl Swoopes is an idiot? She apparently was abusive as a coach and is just not a very good person in general.

Haven’t we known this on some level since her high school or college days?
