How white do you have to be? Can you be Hispanic white? What about 1/8 black? Can Polish and Irish apply?

It says white. Like really white. No mulattos, no quadroons, not even an octoroon. Just whites. 'mutica.

Oops. Should they not have done that?

In all seriousness, this shit goes on all the time, for all races. Sometimes the company needs to increase their minority % and HR will only pass on POC resumes to hiring managers. Sometimes it's whites only.

This HR person done fucked up and didn't review the posting before hitting Upload. If this goes viral, I'm betting that he/she will be fired tomorrow.

Then I have a job for you! Something tells me this wasn't supposed to be posted publicly . . .

r/WorkReform - This is illegal and nauseating.

No way in hell is that legit in this day and age. My first thought was it was a hit job, sabotage by a competitor or disgruntled employee.

Before y'all all go fatwa on the company, it is a minority (non white) run company who claims a former employee copied the employment ad then added racist language. "This job posting was neither authorized nor posted by Arthur Grand or its employees. A former employee took an existing posting and added discriminatory language, then reposted it through his own account. The moment this was brought to our attention, we worked with the job portal to remove this offensive job posting. Necessary legal action has been initiated against the job poster."

So while there is plenty of prejudice and racism left in the workplace, this company may not be a source of it.

But I need to be outraged in order to exist.

So instead of admitting that their current staff are incompetent that they don't review the employer's job description before posting, they would rather admit that their IT security is so laxed that a former pissed off employee still had his LinkedIn access and posted this bogus job description in their LinkedIn account? Either scenario doesn't inspire confidence in them as a company who has their shit together.

Arthur Grand, HTC and Berkshire are getting hell on social media because of this.

A gorilla could post on Indeed.  You don't really need oversight on something so menial.  Best bet is shithead ex-employee with a grudge did this.

And by former employee, we mean Klaus in HR who hasn't worked for us in hours.
