So far, only Fox outlets reporting this potential development but we could be in for a long season …

They say that every. fucking. year.

A bit of quick research says there have only been two years in US history where there has been a named storm in April. 2017 being one of them, which provided two of the top ten worst hurricanes on record.

This "storm" that was in the gulf ended up producing less than half an inch of rain here in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Was hoping for a couple of inches, (cue that's what she said.)

Yea but when they squall line hit it was gnarly.

We definitely didn't have that here. Navarre beach?

Santa Rosa Beach in between Eastern Lake and Deer Lake.

El Niño will hopefully make this a rather “mild”  year.

The article I read yesterday said it’s predicted to be a very mild hurricane season this year.

it is a very sad testament that I saw this thread bumped and I was hoping for a path of destruction headed toward the highland lakes.  it's our only hope.

What is the track? Austin to Miami on Friday morning. Miami to St. Vincent mid-day. Maybe this post needs to wait until Wednesday.

I looked to see if there was confirmation from Frankie - no such video up, but he did have this and now I am very worried

Fuck that.  We need an asteroid to actually hit, to fucking end this simulation once and for all.

Kxan said this morning that there are record high temps in the Atlantic. I suppose that bodes well for hurricane season.

It’s been pretty quiet so far this year, but there may finally be something to talk about. Some models are showing this getting into the GOM.

I figure these aren't the ones you have to worry about. It's the ones that are a cluster of t-storms in the gulf that turn into a Cat 3 in 48 hours due to the heat.

From the picture above, we may need to watch the front i circled in black when it moves into the GOM.

Currently the front is in the Woodlands area.
