This is literally what Nahlin wrote:

Arizona defensive tackle Tiaoalii Savea visited over the weekend but left uncommitted he tells IT. As for other potential visits, he says he's still figuring that out. The senior originally started his career at UCLA while Johnny Nansen was there. When Nansen moved on to Arizona, Savea followed. We'll see if he follows him again.

We know Texas needs another defensive tackle but Savea not committing on his visit is somewhat interesting. The staff could be monitoring other situations to see if any more options shake loose.

So in no way implying that Savea wasn’t offered. Nice to know this forum has some illiterates!

I'm not going to parse words here, but yes that is exactly what he seemed to be implying. More likely just poorly written.

Sorry that's poorly read, not poorly written. "Uncommitted" doesn't imply "not offered."

Christ guys. Paraphrasing, "It's weird that he left without committing but the coaches may be monitoring other options". Translation: The choice to leave uncommitted may not have been his. Happy?

Nahlin certain has plucked many a turd from his ass and left them on the interwebs for the regulars on this board to polish. He doesn't seem to know much about the beat he covers and barely demo's highschool level (of the public sprt) writing skills.

Why are you criticizing his writing skills in one post and in the next assuming he has the ability to make such a subtle suggestion?

Isn't it more likely that you're fingering through an unpolished turd to read the peanuts and seeing what you want to see?

Nahlin writes such mealy-mouthed shit it's a complete waste of time to parse his words. If he knew what the fuck was going on, he would write a definitive and declarative sentence. Instead he's slinging poo. It's on y'all if you want to wade through his feces to find meaning.

As for DT, Bobby seems to think we're interested and pushing in the Poly kid. I'd also imagine the staff is keeping an eye on Michigan's DT roster given the possibility that Harbaugh may jump ship.

In actual news, Bobby reported on OTF that we are still the heavy favorite for the AZ DT. He provided an update on Muhammad as well saying he was going to pack up his shit at Washington, but it didn't sound particularly good or bad. Just that he has one visit left with Oregon.

Spoiler

From a source in Tucson, I am told that Texas is the "clear favorite" to land Tiaoalii Savea , the 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive tackle transfer from Arizona. Savea visited Texas over the weekend and has a very strong bond with Texas linebackers coach Johnny Nansen, who joined the Longhorn staff from Arizona this off-season.

Savea is expected to be a mid-term enrollee. All mid-term enrollees at Texas must enroll by Jan. 30 at the very latest.

Texas has already added seven players from the NCAA's transfer portal. Besides Savea, Texas also continues to recruit Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad. Muhammad visited Texas with his parents on Wednesday and Thursday and visited Alabama over the weekend. He is expected to return to Washington to collect his belongings this week and visit Oregon while in the Pacific Northwest.

OMG there is nothing in that update that implies Muhammad is packing up "shit"! Belongings aren't shit! Learn how to read, imbecile!

Bama 247 on the Muhammad visit

Quote

Jabbar Muhammad spent roughly two days in Tuscaloosa. He got to see coach DeBoer for the first time since the national championship game and catchup with a few other former Washington assistant coaches. He also spent time with new defensive coordinator Kane Wommack. Bama247 was told the meeting went well.

Muhammad, the No. 4 cornerback in the 247Sports Transfer Portal Rankings, previously took an official visit to Texas and will check out Oregon this coming weekend. This is what Muhammad had to say about the Texas visit.

It’s tough to gauge where Muhammad seems to be leaning right now, but he is from Texas and has two cousins on the team. Bama247 is working to learn more.

If this is the best you can spin it it ain't happening

@closetojumping it’s a solid title change, and I hope you feel better after having made it.

I feel better after he changed it. This may be the most derailed thread I’ve ever seen, which is saying a lot, but it helps to know I’m not alone in hating this thread and you fucks.

How good is Jabbar? Having lockdown brother corners seems cool as shit. What a family.

They’re cousins, but they’re so close that they might as well be actual brothers

Here he is on X in the CFP.

Worthy was also playing very hurt in that game and couldn’t break like he normally does when healthy.

Thankful there was no portal back in the shaggy days. Thread would have gone off the rails.

Oh my god! A DB turned his head. What advanced technique.

We should be able to break him of that habit.

Back to recruiting, Wells’ most recent update made it sounds like Muhammad is unlikely.  We’re not going to guarantee starter level snaps and he needs that or a clear depth chart to build his film.

The miraculous part was that he was actually in a position to be able to turn his head.

It has taken some experimentation, but it's good that Sark has finally found the level of equivalence between Arizona and Texas: An Arizona DC ranks below a position coach at Texas and above an analyst.

Texas DL coach > Arizona DC

Texas analyst < Arizona DC

The real question is: does Texas DL coach = Texas LB coach?
