I remember going to the zoo as a kid and trying to feed the pellets they sold in the gumball machine to only the blue-footed boobies.

I guess you could say I've been a boob guy from way back.

I guess Texas wouldn't be an option then - not that it ever was in the first place.

We arent in the SEC until July, but Makuba and Filsaime probably puts the kaibosh on that.

I don't think @Harvdog is a bad poster or anything, but, man, his takes during the Tunmise recruitment were absolute gold. I know I should have been nicer about trolling him at the time, but it was too much to pass up. That recruit was an absolute turd and this is ending up about as absurd as one could have expected back then.

I get it, though. You see a kid around and think/hope that he turns out to be good because that makes you feel good. Confirmation bias.

Unfortunately, some kids are just turds or just aren't as good or don't work as hard as it seemed they should.

Sometimes people have poor judgement. They think everything is fine as they cross the railroad tracks ignoring the whistle, and the next thing you know, they are headlines on the 6:00 news.

All fair. The kid I knew was a yes sir no sir kid.  His dad put him at the Village School and that’s where him and my son became friends. He was a good kid.  People change. It’s obvious that he hasn’t matured and has made a ton of bad decisions. Hopefully he can get his shit together

Hopefully, your son didn't follow him to Texas State - or worse yet, to the State Pen.

This is why I don’t trust character references.
