He’s for the gay agenda - you know the platform ..

Recruiting young boys to be gay, supporting trans women murdering puppies and babies in bathrooms, financing world domination through lesbian promotion of flannel shirts, installing secret Satan altars in schools, shit like that. We real scary. Boo!

There’s a story going around about Pete. Apparently one of the foreign languages he speaks is Norwegian.

Why? Because he once read a book And found it so interesting he wanted to read other works by the same author. Problem is, the author was Norwegian and only one of his works had been translated into English.

So he learned a fucking foreign language so he could read some books written in that language. He’s the anti-trump.

Latest Wisconsin poll

Very interesting crosstab shows that Biden and Beto might be pulling from the same pool of voters, which is a tough battle for Beto.

If Joe Biden decides against running, it appears that this vote would split between Bernie Sanders at 23%, Beto O’Rourke at 20%, Kamala Harris at 16% and Elizabeth Warren at 14%. No other candidate receives over 10% if Biden does not run.

That top five seems like it’s going to be challenging to crack.  Someone is going to do it though, hopefully Pete.

Don't know if I've ever seen a candidate use 1 minute for a talking point as effortlessly and powerfully as Buttigieg.  His economy of words is impressive and should help him shine during the debates.

You are giving the American electorate too much credit. Way too much.

Ha ha - Yang and Mayor Pete now ahead of everyone on predictit other than Bernie, Biden, Beto, and Kamala.

Warren and Booker and everyone else could save a lot of people a lot of time and money by dropping out.

I would be crazy excited for a yang/butti paring.

A Yang in the booty if-you-will

Yang being taken seriously is humorous.

Don't get me wrong, I love the dude but an Asian guy selling communism is probably a bridge too far for most Americans.

Yes, I know it's not real communism but giving everyone $12K a year for nothing would be painted that way.

I would think that most Americans, especially in the states that are going to be beaten to death with the upcoming job losses, wouldn't see it as communism, since they'd be in it.

The only thing anywhere near communism is the rich's entanglement with government.

Troof. UBI isn't close to being Communism or Socialism. Hell, Trumpism is a much bigger aggression against the free market than UBI.

UBI/BIG is actually gaining traction in libertarian circles. A couple of years ago I listened to a podcast where an economist who was also a Hayakian was advocating the UBI in the form of a Negative Income Tax. Manikew has started writing about UBI over the past several years and he's a lifelong Republican economic adviser. Its definitely something that transcends the socialist/capitalist paradigm.

Hopefully Yang will get more people talking about it. A lot of Yang's ideas are Next-Gen and we need someone to move our collective mindset forward. If his candidacy doesn't workout, I would like to see him team up with Beto .

POLL OBSESSION UPDATE

Data from 3/11-3/17 (Beto launched 3/14)

Not really much movement. Biden & Sanders remain the 2nd choice for various candidates ( Sanders/Harris/O'Rourke->Biden, Biden/Warren->Sanders)

I don't think much of Beto only moving up +1. If he doesn't start establishing himself in the double digits in a few weeks then maybe it matters (but it's still super early, so meh). He lost some ground by not announcing early and he's still in the making-it-up stage. I would be shocked if he isn't a solid 3rd soon.

Booker gettin' froggy

It seems to me that his criticism is more directed at Kamala. Her response to the question sounded like an attempt to appear cool while Bernie was pretty nonchalant about his answer. Plus Kamala was a DA/AG that oversaw the enforcement of marijuana laws in her career. She shouldn't joke about that shit.

I think you're right. Booker was going after Harris there and said "senators" to keep it vague.

Bernie was like, "Yeah, whatever, it didn't do anything for me." Which I sympathize with, because weed just gives me a stomachache.

Booker, though, ain't got shit on Kamala's dad.

The elder Harris sent an unsolicited statement to Kingston-based Jamaica Global Online, for which the emeritus professor of economics at Stanford University wrote a recent essay on his family’s history.

“My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics,” he wrote.

“Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty,” he added.

No kidding.

Reading the article you linked, it doesn’t seem as if they were estranged.

But fuck that dude for airing his issues through a media outlet and then when the inevitable follow up questions start pouring in he gets all indignant about being in the media.

YOU STARTED IT ASSHOLE .
