If Buttigieg were to become President and the United States would have it's first First Gentlemen but.... the first First Gentlemen would be the husband of Mr. President and not Madam President. The dick and balls club would continue to rule the roost. This is not how some feminists saw things playing out concerning a First Gentlemen.

As  Bernie Bro, I approve of this outcome

Ladies and gentlemen, First Gentleman of the United States of America, Chasten Buttigieg!

Chasten looks like a young Danny Noonan who, while at St. Copious Northern Nebraska, finally realized he had poor eyesight...and was gay...and had horrible taste in frames.

All right guys... this is awesome...

Some teenage boys who listen to Chapo Trap House have recruited 88-year-old Mike Gravel to run for president. They're running his (amazing) social media campaign.

Their goal is to get Mike onto the debate stage to go after the libs with hardline anti-imperialism and anti-poverty leftism.

And not only are they delivering 360 windmill dunks all day, these rude teens are using the platform to slide into the DMs.

This is the singularly most disgusting whatabout ever.  Congratulations.

You just defended the fondling of young girls, let that sink in.

Sweet Jesus. I don't know how these libtards can live with themselves. I honestly feel bad for them and will pray for them.

ACA 2.0 just allows for a system that Republicans can chip away at until it's meaningless and pointless

Single-payer is the future, and any leader should start with the understanding that single-payer is the necessary next step

Just remove the 65 and over requirement under the Medicare statute.

Done.

Looks like 2020 is going to be about healthcare.

That is great news for Democrats.

Exactly.

Trump was like "well the Mueller report wasn't bad news for me, so I better shit myself and smear it all over the 2020 map."

- The Republicans voted to kill the ACA one million times while Obama was in office.
- They almost successfully did it under Trump, but McCain stopped them.
- The Trump admin has now said they will make no defense of the ACA against judges who want to kill the entire thing.

Knowing these things, watch what these candidates want to do.

Are they wanting to create a durable system that the Republicans cannot destroy by chipping away at it? Or are they doubling down on procedural incrementalism that can be rolled back just as easily as it is rolled in?

Most of you will jerk off to this fact tonight and that’s okay.  I think we need to examine  how we use end-result wealth to better serve society at large.  And as a teacher and supporter and investor, I would love to participate in a Socialist Startup competition, but I can’t find one.

Anyway, at a small group lunch yesterday, the head of one of the largest higher education endowments on earth was asked what he saw as the two or three biggest threats to delivering alpha for the people that relied on his team.  I figured another answer on recession, inverted yield curve, trump as idiot, oil prices, inflation, beta risk, etc

Without hesitation, number one to him was “socialism, not as distribution method but as investment policy.   Not only does it erase educational endowments, defined benefits disappear.   They don’t know How much will evaporate for the very people they think they’ll be protecting.”

the repeated narrative on cnn today is that "trump got the news he wanted, so he's going to weaponize the mueller report findings".  thank god there are 20 months before election day.

dems want to run on healthcare?  cool.  trump will be busy running on the platform of "i pretty much didn't participate in a rigged election four years ago."  the longer he dwells on this, the better.

80% of voters had healthcare as their most important issue just 5 months ago.  In fact, Russia was at the bottom (45%).   2020 Dems are salivating at getting to talk about healthcare for 20 months!

The Dems are idiots if they blather on about healthcare. No one cares. What they need to focus on is that Donald Trump is always lying. I mean, have you heard this guy? He's just lying all the time and somehow getting away with it! Well, not anymore, here comes 'ol Joe Biden to talk some sense into the American people.

Of those 80% who think healthcare is important, what percentage thinks it is important because they want to go backwards and make healthcare available only to those who can afford it themselves?

"Healthcare is a human right!"

*builds insanely stupid, complicated, and rickety health insurance system that can be easily destroyed piece by piece*

Its kind of pathetic that poor as shit dilapidated Cuba has a healthcare system that might be better than ours.

The way this country treats education and health care is a fucking joke. The former has ultimately given us trump. The latter just kills a whole lot of us.

Here's the context: Joe Biden is a blathering fool and really, really sucks. He's had two previous presidential campaigns and he just constantly set them on fire and they failed quickly.

Joe Biden had his chance four years ago and gave us Trump instead.
