if there's nothing bad or unusual in them, then that'll be bernie telling the bad faith cable pundits to stfu.  that would be a win.  if he has something serious he's hiding, the voters deserve to know about it.  not sure how it's a miscalculation.

He's an old-ass dude and has old-ass dude problems, anything that just confirms this is going to be used against him. Bloomberg could the next day blanket the airwaves about Bernie's blood pressure or kidney levels and how he's not fit to run.

Is this about his taxes or medical records?

Did I miss it somewhere in this shit show of a thread where we talked about Bernie supporters were sending threatening emails/voicemails/texts/whatever to the Culinary Union members in Nevada?

Buttigieg's problem is not price fixing of bread.

His major weakness is propping up a broken health system that drains away more than $400 billion health care dollars a year to profiteers using mechanisms that include price fixing. He doesn't have a problem with that and wants it to continue. That is Pete's problem.

Can’t believe that Bernie hasn’t addressed all of the huge problems that I just made up and I am sure that the Republicans will rip him to shreds using the problems I have imagined. It’s almost like I’m actually a Republican but can’t say that out loud anymore because Trump is president.

Because neither is a legitimate concern as the tax return issue already showed everyone who isn't a bad faith troll.

What information is necessary beyond what the 3 doctors have said to alleviate your concerns about his physical fitness for the job?

If your response is just, "Oh, not I! I am merely concerned about what others will say!" then it's so nice to have garbage talking heads on cable news here among us.

Bernie was so unhappy with Obama wanting to cut SS that he talked about a primary challenge in 2012. (This is public record already, but hey let's talk about it anyway because we're re-re-re-re-dumping the oppo files.)

Also, this reporter isn't good at ... facts.

Inshallah

Some center/center-left pundits are trying to say, "NO NO ATTACK BERNIE INSTEAD!" (the last Pod Save America episode revealed an emotional volcano starting to erupt) but Bloomberg is a nightmare candidate not because he will lose (he will), but because his victory would mean the Democratic Party becomes the 2003 Republican Party and the Republican Party will respond by becoming open and proud fascists.

The swing state breakout is the most troubling.  Bern is basically a push and he brings no new states into play.  His hope is to get enough votes in all Midwestern states and one of those states repeatedly elected Mark Walker.

Not Really. Bernie and everyone but Biden are all in the margin of error for the poll so you really don't know if they are leading, tied or losing in those states. That being said, I think Amy and Pete will only go up as more people get exposed to them if they become the candidate. Those of us in this thread and following the debates don't make up the main voting block.  Bloomberg could go up or down, I don't know.  I think voters already know Biden and Bernie and they aren't going to win over voters in the lead up to the general.

"Hey Twitter blue checks if you want your favorite campaign to win, you better SHAPE UP!"

They ARE winning. The Pod Saves have overseen a killing field of failure from Ossoff to Beto to Warren to Buttigieg. I don't think they hate Bernie, but after making their bones on Obama '08 they chafe very very hard at being flanked to the left. Since they're basically just becoming access-oriented media personalities, they find themselves on Twitter white-knighting Lis Smith and scoff that anyone would ever dare criticize Stacey Abrams, even when she richly deserves it.

The amount of nervous laughter about Bernie's seeming inevitability over the last two episodes is very...

thumb_i-am-fine-wojak-feels-guy-know-535

Again, not because I think they hate Bernie, but they are balls-deep in the Obama-level Dem establishment machine.

What's extremely telling is how soft they are on Bloomberg. They are critical of him, but it's kind of alarming that they aren't just outright labeling him as an unacceptable option. They'll dance around that with some of their patented nervous laughter, but at the same time they won't join the pitchforks-and-torches castle storming march.

I enjoy their show and views because they aren't like mine. Right now it's the only political podcast I'm subscribed to.

I will love Jon forever, though, because I love my Obama '08 Bros.

There's just something supremely poison-brained about equating your Twitter mentions with larger ideas about electoral success and voter outreach. They are completely separate spheres and the Pod Save Boys' inability to understand that is disturbing.

FYI this Culinary Union story was so bad that they didn't double check their claims. Tweeting your anger may be annoying, it may turn people away, but isn't a threat.

I noticed that, too. Still don't get the Bloomberg love. If ever those other folks going on the stage needed to have a supersecretcallsign and pact to eviscerate him, 7:59 CST would be a good time to have one.

None of the PSA guys particularly care for Buttigieg anymore, as far as I know. And they seem to be much more Bernie-friendly now than ever.

They are very online dudes, so it makes sense.

do you think voters deserve to know more about the health of all candidates, especially the older ones (70+)?

They aren't right, Bernie is winning.

No one cares about the menchies of the Pod Save bros. No one. I bet their wives don't even care. Their wives probably want to divorce them for it. Jon even mentions how he knows he sounds like a lunatic for being mad at the Lis-Smith-Nigeria Twitter fun last weekend.

Listen again, he even angrily tries to interject "It's not about Tweets, it's about the THREATS to the culinary union" but all he fucking talks about is his god damned menchies.

Is it turning voters off? No, it's not. No one cares. Bernie is winning.

Remember how mad we were at Donald's meanness and the deplorables' meanness? Remember how we thought it meant something? Learn lessons.

Yeah they hop from candidate to candidate, but there's a natural block for Bernie because the Bernie Bro thing is firmly established and they will only ever be equals with the rest of us. They felt empowered by Beto and Warren and even Pete for a minute but the Bernie train reaction to them if their next episode was called "We Are All Bernie Fanatics Now!" would be...

I welcome them to the Bern Dawg's Road Dawgs, but I don't know if they'd ever be happy not being at least near the driver's seat.

I asked a year ago (this morning) what "full medical records" means and no one can fucking answer. Just "Uh... more!"
