Well, this just part of the story that Hillary highlighted and mainstream media ran with it.

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/8/24/16194086/bernie-trump-voters-study

Moreover, defections from a primary to general election are common. More voters went from Hillary Clinton to John McCain in 2008 than went from Sanders to Trump in 2016; about 13 percent of Trump’s 2016 voters also voted for Barack Obama in 2012.”

So, if nothing else, Hillary supporters are more to blame than Bernie voters; or in other words, more Bernie voters voted for their eventual party candidate than Hillary voters.

Unfortunately this canard doesn’t die.

Actually it’s down the middle the reason.  Bernie supporters voted for Trump.

McCain was an acceptable candidate, the pussy grabbing mafioso never was.  Apples and absurd  piles of shit, no comparison.

this isn’t a sport. Trump is our president, the McCain election has nothing  to do with it.

The point is that about that much percentage of people commonly switch sides. In other words, not everyone who voted for Bernie in 2016 primaries is a Bernie Bro. Probably they were Trumpkins. To damn a group without understanding the dynamics is the issue.

I definitely know of several people who voted for Bernie because they were Republicans and disliked Hillary that much. You even have Republicans in South Carolina saying they're going to vote for Barney because they think he's going to be easier to defeat.

Bern was just on 60 Minutes.  Good hell.

Anderson Cooper kept asking how he was going to pay for everything.  Kept saying he didn’t know.  Then proposed government funded child care.  Said “billionaires would pay for it.”

He’s just pulling stuff out of his ass at this point.

I respectfully disagree with your interpretation of facts.

LOL you are advocating a govt mandated 2-20% EPS dilution via higher stock comp expense? That will simply be funded by: lower R&D investment, lower headcount, or 2% lower wages.

It's definitely the implanted fear, but it doesn't have to succeed:

Notice how effortlessly this friend of RU foreign minister Sergei Lavrov who used to run a RU funded think tank lets this roll off his tongue:

"...Over the weekend, trying to make sense of what Russians might be thinking about Bernie Sanders, I also called Andranik Migranyan, who used to run a Russian government-funded think tank attached to the Russian mission to the U.N. Perhaps more notably, he’s also a close friend and former classmate of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “I don’t think anyone really respects or values Sanders here,” Migranyan told me.

“It’s like a knife in the throat,” he went on. “The things Sanders says even Russian communists would be too scared to say. He is a real communist. I always said to Americans, ‘Your brilliant future is our horrible past.’ We collapsed into nothing because of Communism, and now this is the dream that Sanders is offering—and a big part of your country is following him into the abyss.” If Sanders secures the nomination, warns Polymeropoulos, the retired CIA officer, who worked to counter Russian interference after 2016, this is exactly the kind of attack you can expect to see from Russian bots. “Bernie’s socialist credentials is exactly the hot-button, divisive issue that Russia will seek to use to cause chaos,” says Polymeropoulos.

cont."

^^^ that's professional grade shit right there.

Well, that’s what he said.  Cooper presses him on details and he said “I don’t know.”

And then Cooper listed how he plans to pay for it. You are parsing.

Tell me how we are paying for this?

Sanders: "Where are people saying, "How are you going to pay for over $750 billion on military spending?" How you going to pay for a trillion dollars in tax breaks to the 1% in large corporations which was what Trump did?"

What were his plans besides "billionaires are going to pay for it?"  (He actually said that.)

BTW, "I don't know" is not an acceptable answer from Bern.  He's been yammering about this for decades.

I cannot wait for the next 8 months from you as Bernie is gaining steam and you're doing nothing but whine and bitch and moan about him. His website has all of his policies listed in lots of detail and he has said at multiple rallies that he's going to pay for M4A by literally instituting a tax for everyone and paying for student debt and tuition by instituting a tax on Wall Street speculation.

What you honestly could really argue is how likely are these plans to be passed even if the Democrats control the Senate, which is a fair argument and reason for debate. It's amazing how mad the past 24 hours have made you because it's so clear that you see Bernie winning this nomination and you can't do anything to stop it.

So, may taxes are going up to pay for your student loans?  That's an outstanding campaign idea.  Better yet, you're going to raise taxes on some factory worker who never went to college to pay for someone else's student loans.

Bern's entire platform is DOA even with a Democratic Congress.

M4A would save 68,000 lives a year and save $450 billion a year.

What should we do with that $450 billion a year?

The tax everyone pays is for M4A dingus, I know you know this, and you no longer have deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket expenses. The speculation tax is what goes into debt forgiveness and making public colleges tuition free.

Are there any guardrails about how long someone can go to college and how much debt we'll forgive?

Current debt - paid for as follows:

Sanders will fund his student loan forgiveness plan through a new tax on financial transactions, which he expects could raise more than $2 trillion over the next 10 years. The tax plan will include a 0.5% fee on all stock trades, a 0.1% fee on all bond trades and a 0.005% fee on all derivatives trades.

i'm being optimistic bc Bernie has a good soul, he's not a liar, and the alternative is a fucking nightmare.

he IS going to run into brick walls. he will also likely only have 2 years to try and get anything done, just like Obama.

my hope is he prioritizes well (M4A appears to be most critical, again just like Obama), and that he accepts reality and compromise. he may, he's been in the senate a long time, he's got to know how to drive things.

or, you know, fuck it, has he ever been able to get any signature legislation passed? i really don't know and can't recall his name being on anything monumental...

anyway, if he can't...well, we've mostly been at an impasse b/t the presidency and congress for decades now. nullify all the gross executive orders that trump implemented and sign some of his own, at least there could be some temporary relief/improvement etc.

at least we'll have an actual good human being in the white house for a while.

i mean, at this point that's the only way our govt functions anyway. ..EOs swinging back and forth.

oh...and bama is going to cut a bernie bro mocking beto 🙂

Yeah, please mock the only high profile guy actively working to turn Texas blue from the ground up.

Texas is like all other states - don’t fuck with one of our own.

If Bernie wants a chance at turning Texas blue him and his supporters better be sucking up to the Betocrats.

Imagine being so dumb that you think Trump losing Texas to any Democrat would make Beto mad.

I’m sure they’ll team up at some point. My first vote in my life was for Beto. I can live with that.

First, they gaslight you. They they ask you to be the bigger person and get on board with Bernie. It’s a lovely strategy.

- Open my Twitter account where I purposefully follow people who post things that piss me off
- Get pissed off
- Tell other people how pissed off I made myself
- Pretend that my impotent personal rage is matters on a larger scale (or that my feelings represent the feelings of millions)
- Give "advice" that is actually just an attempt to start a fight with people who weren't involved with the thing that pissed me off on Twitter
- Convince myself I'm actually a very mature adult and it's THEM who are the assholes

Limited to debt at time of cancellation.

Here are all of the candidates proposals (current and withdrawn candidates) - https://ballotpedia.org/2020_presidential_candidates_on_student_loan_debt

Do you understand how Twitter works? I don’t follow these people. It gets retweeted by others and shows up in my feed.

You are getting upset by an account with 7000 followers as if a bunch of Bernie people in Texas, or Bernie himself, is going to start shitting on Beto because they think that messaging will work. It's amazing how much any random tweet supposedly signals how unlikely Bernie is to coalesce while I've shared Tweets of Bernie Supporting Women who were called c*nts and it fell on deaf ears. You may want to log off Twitter, a surrogate for Pete (Steve McElroy) said he wanted to muzzle Nina Turner and then later is now claiming he was hacked which is completely BS and I haven't seen you talking about this divisiveness.
